Most of the "hip" ****s on here are against Apple as it's "overpriced"..... yeh? Well, a boy in work tells me that his pal's sister works for Aviva, and twice a year, they get limited amount of Apple products for seriously discounted prices! He's telling me his mate is selling new iPad's for £200 and the iMac for £400! I've "reserved" some of the deals, though I've not paid a bean until the merchandise arrives, but anyone else heard of these deals that the bigger corporations are getting? Personally, I think it's a load of ****e and the boy in work is going to get his panties pulled down and bummed severely.
I'm pretty sure that kind of thing does happen. i have a friend who works for a multinational and they get deals on certain things. I'd imagine they donlt want people bragging about it to all and sundry though!
To be fair there's a big difference between getting a discount from work and drugging someone so you can nick their phone..............
You could give me a macbook for free and I still wouldn't use it due to them being badly designed and ****.
Friend of mine bought an iPad- took it back after 2 days as it wouldn't run his Racing post app videos which he pays about 220 quid a year for. He was told that Apple do their own RP app for 250. He got another tablet at half the price and it works with the apps just fine.
I've had to set up loads of macs at work, they're ****ing dreadful. Anyone that likes macs is an idiot.
Anyone else miss the days where tablet was something your granny made or something that you necked on a Friday? Now it means "pretentious dick watching Netflix on the bus"
To be fair the top of the range ones are well engineered, the screen is alright and they're well built. I've pulled one apart and they do fit everything in nicely. But... Apple didn't include an ethernet port or CD drive They cost twice as much as a normal puter, have serious compatibility issues and the OS makes me want to kill people. I haven't even started on ****ers that try to argue with me that macs are better even they haven't got a ****ing clue about computers. I'm going to sit and have a little internal beel about macs for a bit now.
I used to wonder what the point of tablets were. Has to be said though that they are handy for a quick bit of web surfing and checking emails and such without having to go to the bother of booting up the PC or lappy. They're also zero maintenance. She got me a Kindle Fire for ma birthday this month and I like it. I widny splash out on an iPad though.
