'Lawro' and 'beauty' are two words that really do not belong together.

    <laugh> Like it!

I'll be happy if he's right on this one. He does seem a little friendlier towards us these days, saying we're building for the future and the like.

Having said that though, he's still a nob!

Lawro is one of the better pundits on the Beeb I think. He has an opinion and doesnt trot out the same cliches like others. Doesnt seem to have any noticeable bias either. i.e. Hansen to Liverpool, Shearer to Newcastle

Lawro isn't that reliable, i can't see him getting both correct, but you never know. a wigan win would make things very interesting and increase the brown stuff on many boards, unless we win as well

He has a notable anti-bias to certain teams... As evidenced by his predicted table.

I agree he has an opinion, but he really does trot out the cliches and he is not a good pundit at all. He has big opinions which he is then incapable of justifying (or refuses to justify them). Even Garth Crooks tries to back up his opinions! Lawro's analysis is very thin and often his opinion ends up being contradictory to what little analysis there is. I remember one prediction for another team (maybe Swansea) where he said something like "Swansea are playing really well, their striker is scoring goals, they are in good form. West Brom have hit a bad patch. I think West Brom will win, because I just do."

Pffft they're not that bad. Slightly annoying at times, but generally OK. The only ones I find very annoying are on talksport. Micky Quinn is dreadful as are Keys and Gray, Alan Brazil. Adrian Durham is infuriating but good entertainment value and at least he has strong opinions and causes debate (by deliberately winding people up)

Not sure he has bias against teams that are ranked low in the table. He just thinks they are not very good. In some cases he is wrong. If he wasnt he would be a very rich man from betting.

You've got to be taking the piss: To sit there and analyse a game - I say analyse, I mean state the bleeding obvious and offer no insights for £1000's every time they spout bolloxs; what are they good for? absolutely nothing,,,,,

'STOP CHEWING GUM AND SPEAKING AT THE SAME TIME!'

That segment is becoming more and more of a joke. I'd rather see the pundits compete against each other so we've finally got definitive evidence that Lawro is a bang-average pundit.
