Digger if we go down he has ALL our support cos he will get us back again But what if we stay up do we need to move on and get someone who can take us further ? keep fighting relegation every season isnt much fun is it
Mighty: 'someone' might then take us backwards and down... so at least we'd then not be fighting relegation from the Championship... but maybe from League1? isn't that where KJ came in...or am I forgetting something??
Unless KJ has the financial backing bottom half of Championship is realistically where we will finish each season. I don't see another manager doing any better for us as things stand. Yes he has made some poor loan signings this season but overall he has done very well for us over the years so to sack him would be a mistake. Poor signings next season leading to relegation then maybe a change would be for the best.... Whether JB would keep him if we got relegated is more the issue than KJ wanting to stay, though good to hear he would
Would be interesting if the 2 halves of the season were reversed. Now would we be loooking forward with stars in our our eyes to next season finishing this season just outside the play offs? - And KJ would be a god for having found Chris Woods in the nick of time....having got rid of a load of dross and OAP loans?
Well not really, we would have been in relegation zone for most of the season and then had a great run to just survive by skin of our teeth.
He'd be off like a shot if a bigger club with ambition like Southend, Crawley or Crystal Palace came calling..... but why the **** any of those clubs would want the useless twat is anyone's guess
We had a manager who kept us in the Premiership for season after season then some plastic fans started to phone in to chat shows saying we should be doing better and that Curbs should go???? We appointed Dowie and our slide to a mid table finish in L1 began.......be careful about losing a good manager just because you have had one average league season (although he got you to Wembley!)
