Equally forgotten seems to be the time factor involved - I'm sure that the club themselves have pointed this out on more than one occasion. The time available from take-over to appointment of Zola to start of training then start of fixtures really didn't allow for the normal contract negotiations & registration process - this was seen as a quick but temporary way of circumventing those. I can still hear the words "They are ours and if they want to stay, they will stay...."

I suppose that clubs such as Hull, Leicester, Palarse, Brighton, Bolton and Forest would, knowing then what they now know, have been far happier for us to have had to sign the players on permanent contracts - meaning that we would have started the season without our current squad and lacking in preparation. A clear case of the green eyed monster in my book.

 

Its not ideal, but i couldnt find one with an english commentary on it. I will look when i get the chance, but the work PCs dont have speakers

Fans generally demand money to spent as it shows ambition - no-one worries about their debts etc until the teams fails or you get a Pompey type situation.

You hear it all the time on the phone ins - "we must spend this and that to achieve"

Few go oh well at least we won't be going bust soon in reality.

Nervous no - optimistic yes - Watford will beat Leeds well probably another Leicester 4-0. Cardiff will be far too good for Dull Hull with three ex hornets in their line up plus a manager who played and managed us. Hull can't score in a brothel whilst Cardiff (like Watford) have a good scoring record which is why Dull Hull have such a poor goal difference especially for a team in the top 6. My guess is they won't even win the play-offs cos to do that you have to score goals - they can't

Looking forward to the party at about 2.45 on Saturday in Watford, Hertfordshire - and hearing about the wake in Hull, Lincolnshire.
