Hitchcock's is my favourite restaurant in Hull. It's vegetarian but don't let that put you off. The first person who books gets to pick the whole theme for the night and they go and put together a menu based around the theme. You also take you're own alcohol. They do the best cake I've ever eaten.

 

What is your favourite delicacy you've experienced there? It's near the black boy i believe? Shame it has no meat though

I've had Italian a couple of times, as well as Spanish, Irish, Indian, Asian, and Moroccan. I can't remember the others but I'm sure there was one night with a really odd theme like Norwegian. I was worried about the whole meat thing, but they're so inventive you hardly realise. It is the one near the Black Boy, yeah.

 

I prefer Blowers on Saville St. Get your fella to take you there and treat you.
