Hitchcock's is my favourite restaurant in Hull. It's vegetarian but don't let that put you off. The first person who books gets to pick the whole theme for the night and they go and put together a menu based around the theme. You also take you're own alcohol. They do the best cake I've ever eaten.

What is your favourite delicacy you've experienced there? It's near the black boy i believe? Shame it has no meat though

    Dunelm Mill, down Clough Rd.

My mate's missus is always dragging him down there.

Ladies are hard to please, taken into the hell of silvery money stealing periodic tableness, they are then expected one to end up on their wrist when leaving the shop

I've had Italian a couple of times, as well as Spanish, Irish, Indian, Asian, and Moroccan. I can't remember the others but I'm sure there was one night with a really odd theme like Norwegian. I was worried about the whole meat thing, but they're so inventive you hardly realise. It is the one near the Black Boy, yeah.

I prefer Blowers on Saville St. Get your fella to take you there and treat you.

And if it has not altered you have to book about six weeks in advance as it is so popular.
