I heard it was because some of them (Albat and harry for example) are not allowed to leave the Celtic forum to come onto other ones unless they;re accompanied by a social worker.
I'm becoming all nostalgic and sentimental for those halcyon days. At Primary School we used to play football at "playtime" in the "playground"!! with a tennis ball. Amazing how easy it was then to control a football. Nine o'clock on a Saturday morning playing for either the school or Junior BB on a freezing cold morning getting an orange mitre ball scudded off your thigh and being in complete agony for the rest of the game. Playing on those red blaize pitches in Glasgow was ****in sadistic!!
He's from the same place as me The primary school featured in A Big Boy Done It and Ran Away is the one I went to - every description in it is spot on.
Sliding tackles were a no, no. But if you did get fouled and scraped your leg to buggery having a shower afterwards was excruciating as your cut leg was full of bits of the red blaize. Lots of "oooh ya ****a" as the hot water rushed into your open sores Ah the smell of Ralgex, Deep Heat in the changing rooms after.......................it all seems so fresh in my memory. Heady days indeed.
