Extremely skilful player but a little fragile.

They say he's a top player who should easily play in L1 which is why us and Preston are interested. Vale expect him to accept a new contract

I remember us playing Northampton town at home a few seasons ago and lost 1-0. Jones scored a peach of a free kick. He was on loan from wolves

Not far off though alwaysright Jazz was released only a year later and included hits such as Fat Bottomed Girls, Bicycle Race and Don't Stop Me Now. We all know that We are the Champions was released on the album News of the World in 1977 though mind you. So close but no cigar I'm afraid.

    Brilliant Band though.

totally agree - brilliant band - I think I've got nearly everything they've done. It will help to pass the time on the coach to Carlisle. ( if I stay awake long enough )

Well thanks to my Dad, I absolutely love Queen. Unfortunately I was born after Freddie's early death but I was lucky enough to see Queen + Paul Rodgers at the O2 Arena in 2008. My Dad went to Knebworth '86 though which happened to be his last ever concert before his illness. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like at least one Queen song though.

I certainly hope we don't re-sign Barcham. He was awful in his last season here and Scunthorpe obviously aren't impressed or he would have been offered a new deal. He managed 1 goal for them this season, and anyway Weston is a wide left sided player, so we don't need two. On another note, GillsConnect are reporting that Mark Patterson has left the club today, so possibly that's what the youngsters are upset about?

Unlike vinney I do not think Barcham was awful and had a lot to offer the club. However, I'm also not a fan of reigniting old acquaintances. So sitting on the fence like I did with Cody on this one.

I'm hearing Patterson has been sacked. Need to go and do some research...

I really liked Andy Barcham however I don't believe he is as good now and he left at the correct time so I don't want a return.

Ok, I probably should verify where the rumours are generating from:

    KENT SPORTS NEWS ‏@KENTSPORTSNEWS 1h
KSN can confirm Development Coach Mark Patterson has been sacked by Gillingham Football Club today. #Gills

However, I have seen nothing else to substantiate the claim of 'sacked' at this time.

Lots of comments on Twitter last night about Pattersons alleged sacking, but i shall reserve comment until the facts come out!

I think the story is supposed to be told Sunday by KSN, who are still tweeting he was 'sacked', stating story to follow.

Obviously I have held quite strong views during the season regarding youth policy, so I await with interest.
