Promotion, relegation, frustration, anxiety.

Something we've all have experienced as City fans during the last couple of years heading into the nail biter on Saturday.

I did however all just get into another perspective when the latest news flashes came in.
Ivan Turina, goalkeeper for AIK in Sweden, I dare to say the best goalkeeper in the Swedish League during the last couple of years has passed away, 32 years old, leaving behind his pregnant wife and 1 year old twins. His heart just stopped whiles asleep.

Left me stunned reading this whiles just wakening up, absolutely speechless. Makes you think of how thankful everyone should be for the current situation and for the health that hopefully you and your relatives got.

R.I.P Ivan Turina

Very true Febbos, a sad story.. yet while we are alive we have to make the most of everything, I hope this young man died happy in a dream where he saved a penalty.. this doesn't help his family.. but what can you ever say?

As for life, Saturday is part of what we live for surely.. isn't this what we want? deep down.. we want this excitement, the thrill, the stakes and the glory or pain.. emotions are our essence.

and because we care & for some weird reason, the fortunes of our club matter to us..

I too have a family, girlfriend, friends, job.. I didn't even watch Barca vs Bayern, it doesn't matter to me.. Hull City is a drug, pure and simple.

Always a shock when something like this happens.
You always think that footballers are so fit.
RIP.

Very sad news.

Anyone remember these kid rappers from the 90's?

One of them was found dead at his home in Atlanta this morning, he was only 34.

Sad news about Ivan, just shows how vulnerable anyone can be.

Not so sad news about the rapper if the reports it was drug related are true. Gamble with drugs and you lose.

There was no news on the cause when I posted, but as you say, there is now a suggestion that it was a drug overdose.

Sad news about Ivan.

I couldn't believe Jump was out in 92. I also couldn't believe that the member who died was 34. Shame if it was drug related. Wiggedy wiggedy wack even

Amazing to think that even for people that healthy who train every day can still have something like that happen to them.

On another note, not wanting to sound like a dick but when you write 'whiles' that should be spelt 'whilst'. I only say this because I learn foreign languages myself and know that you can never improve if you don't know what you are doing wrong.
