Gandy they are all very proud of their clubs' history. The fact of the matter is that you have to live for the now because there isn't much of a past, or much of a future. The Paul Lambert era is as good as it ever gets and your board blew it. Underachievement is in the Norwich City DNA.

I am surprised that Hampy doesn't know his history. Mike Walker's 3rd place was more of an achievement than Lambert's season. BTW he wasn't even born when Ipswich won FA cup and was still in nappies when they won the UEFA cup against such greats of European football. McCarthy is only there until something better comes along

The mistake here Dave is I doubt very much Guru cares whether he's taken seriously. probably because the other 2 i have found to be really geninue guys who has never taken this board to preciously and are straight down the line, thats not to say that Dave isn't like that sometimes. what gets my goat, is when he gets his trigger happy banning finger out, and then him and couple of cronies do the same if not worse. abuse of power i believe is the term. I'm not trying to moderate the board, all i'm pointing out is the inconsistency that is happening on a day to day basis. whatever Dave says, i and the other townies were behaving themselves and taking this thread in the spirit that it was meant, but then Dave started it all off again.
well maybe take a few weeks off from coming on our board then, i.ve not seen any abuse of power personally

I think if one of yours is going to post a photo of the Town manager for your caption competition after an incredible turn around and run of form while your side is going to survive purely on the basis of the season running out of games just in time, you should expect some stick
I agree Hampy! They post a caption of our Mick McCarthy holding up a Town shirt and they don't expect us to comment on it! It is interesting that no Budgie has left any messages of support for poor old Hughton on our Caption Comp. The only reason why this thread was created in the first place was down to Treacle and his puerile response to our caption thread. And just for the record I think Dave, Maestro & DH do a great job on here on the whole and that is coming from someone who has recently been banned!

TBH max, I was ready to let it lie, but by Blakey's own admission he posted something to get a reaction and got a response, so i can't really see how he can play the innocent party in this.
