    Which would most interest you?
I've just woken up after and Adrian Chiles induced semi coma and caught the end interview with the losing manager, Jose Mourinho.
The commentator got out of JM that he would probably manage 'where he was loved'.
The commentator then closed the interview down immediately cos of adverts by saying 'we'll take that as England then'.... Just as JM was about to reveal the club......

What a waste of space that channel is and what an utterly depressing front man Chiles is.

He makes Marvin the paranoid android from Hitchhikers Guide look upbeat..

Never liked Chiles, one of the most boring people ever to present a programme. Met him once in a pub and he's as boring in real life as he is on the box.

And if you ever felt like punching somebody in the face, who could you choose that would come close to Chiles?

    http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs...interview-jose-mourinho-future-215215253.html

ITV's coverage of the Champions League semi-final sparked bemusement on Twitter when they had to cut an interview of Jose Mourinho, seemingly on the brink of saying he would be walking out of Real Madrid, to cut to the adverts ahead of the evening news.
Mourinho, whose side had been eliminated 4-3 by Borussia Dortmund over two legs, despite a late rally at the Bernabeu, had been giving a short post-match interview to the channel.
As reporter Gabriel Clarke wrapped up the interview, offering his commiserations and saying "Maybe next season with Real?", Mourinho suddenly began to open up.
    "Maybe not," the Portuguese said.
Asked where, he added: "I don't know, but I want to be where people love me."
On the verge of Mourinho revealing more, however, Clarke had to cut him off, saying, "We'll take that as England, we've got to go."
The broadcast wrapped up swiftly thereafter.
Fans on Twitter could scarcely believe that ITV had broken from the story at that point, and the channel started trending on the social network.
Journalist Richard Deitsch wrote afterwards: "The producers of this ITV spot should resign as Jose Mourinho is cutoff answering a Q about Real Madrid future."
Another imagined how ITV might have reported Martin Luther King's famous speech, with presenter Adrian Chiles cutting him off the moment he said "I have a dream."
ITV is no stranger to controversy over its football coverage. Most famously, the channel infuriated viewers by missing the only goal of an FA Cup match between Everton and Liverpool in 2009 when it cut to an advert, and repeating the trick a year later by missing England's opening goal at the 2010 World Cup for the same reasons.

It would be a hell of a lot better if the people covering the game were actually interested in it.

Maybe know when to cut for breaks and when to let things run because of the onfield action.

Surely there must be enough people in the production team to know when to let things flow and when to go for cuts.

Forget the adverts, who will remember what adverts were shown last night?
ITV missed a chance to make quite a coup last night, instead they are being joked about on other 'News' stations.

Exactly. So misguided, its why it will always be viewed as a tin pot channel. The execs will remember the adverts though when they are relaxing in Dubai. We can all fill in the blanks though "me and Romans love affair is back on"
