Was game over anyway with the sounds of it. No shot (on target?) from Barca in first half our, 0-0 at half-time and a distinct lack of fight and passion.

Now Barcelona are just embarrassing themselves.

 

I think it shows the mentality of the Barca player. They know they are good and if they play well they will beat most teams but if they think they are beaten then they are #headsgone

I think this 0-3 home defeat is worse than the 0-4 away loss as there the pitch was sabotaged with overwatering but there's no excuse for this performance. At least Real Madrid gave it a go.

 

This is exactly what worries me with Rodgers, tikki takka ****ty shatta football really isnt the way to go. We are miles off Barcelona, but their defence looks like our bunch getting the run around.

 

We are not tikki takka. We are a team that values possession and will try to play out of trouble, but we don't try to walk the ball into the net. Even when we lose we create chances and have shots on target. If Barcelona are playing badly then they don't create.

But seriously I love the way we go from extremes. this Barca team was hailed as the best we've ever seen. Now they are apparently a failed system. ..

In reality their best player has been injured when it matters and they're playing against a team just as good as them; who had all their players fit & on fire.

Bayern will eventually be "found out" which just means a team almost as good will study hard & find the chinks this year, next year, injuries etcetera

But yes you're right the weakness of the style of play is having ability on the end of the possession otherwise its just ....nothing.
