of course but why did he change it when it was not broken......He is a terrific guy and one of the best players ever to play soccer but that is in his past now and all we should care about is how he can keep us in the premiership and progress even further......I dont think he is good enough and show signs of my way or the highway regardless of how the players feel.......I wish he would succeed but he took over a good side and gradually he has changed the philosophy of the way we were playing and its plain to see its not working....dont get me wrong im desperate for his way to work but results and performances and reading between the line from our players in the media i cannot see it working and he looks out of his depth.....we were led to believe that nothing would change in the way we play by Jenkins before laudrup was appointed but it has and that is why we find ourselves ending the season as one of the worst teams in the premiership..
What was our aim realistically at the start of the season remain in the prem - job done and some we have been safe for weeks a nice cup run possibly - job done and some by winning a major trophy for the first time to strengthen our squad - job done I feel and plenty in the kitty for our next challenge don't get me wrong I would hope that we can win 1 at least but we are about to play the reigning prem champs, the new prem champs. so take this into perspective we are living the dream Surely this thread is a wum never never never sack a manager who has got us European football next year by actually winning something not via a fair play league position in sir mike I trust simple
*he took over a good side and gradually he has changed the philosophy of the way we were playing and its plain to see its not working are you being serious dai .. he started without Sinclair Allen caulker. lost Taylor early doors brought in Michu improvement brought in chico parity with caulker brought in jdg I feel better than Joe gave routledge a chance

you would think so, all ive done is lift daiswans comments from another thread and make an article out of it !! what you read in the OP was what dai reckoned should happen to laudrup..sacked for not winning the last 4 games ,3 of which are important to the other teams When these comments are posted in the form of an article they really do sound crazy.
I'm assuming this is tongue in cheek, Norway. But I'll go along with it...... NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually beleive we have improved as a team but have been found wanting when mental toughness is required, its not beyond the realms of possibility that Laudrup is not over playing a few tactical things as he maybe wants to keep a bit in the locker for next season. We now have a few different systems to play and that is what we were missing. When you are watching the likes of Routs and Dyer misplace easy passes and take the wrong option it looks more like the application isnt quite there, they have the ability but not maybe that mental strength that makes the top players win while playing badly ..something that to me makes a top premiership player, im a little bit concerned about our form but when you break it down its just coming down to tiny fractions. Michu has been spunking away easy chances for the last few weeks but he can be forgiven for this, Ash has been iffy and so has ben positionally but overall they have all done an amazing job. I keep mentioning the early pre season start next year,im sure some players are taking their rest time now! i feel we need 5 pts to secure a top 10 finish,if we get that then i will be extremly impressed with our season, i love Laudrup and i love his honesty and ability to get players to come to a team they wouldnt normally look at twice!! If Laudrup got sacked then expect transfer requests from Michu,Pablo,Chico and JDG (if signed up) canas and who ever else comes in would do the same imo, if they feel the manager is under any kind of pressure then we have enough boys there to run through brick walls for him,i expect at least 2 good performances before the end of the season and our game against Man city will tell us alot.

Im not 100% sure what happened there, i think alot of the ones were pissed off with the type of football being played and mclearen s tactics were being called into question, the rot set in and fans became pissed off with negative football, something along those lines anyway
There is probably only one person on here who would say yes to this question - now I wonder who that is, the name escapes me for the moment
No. I wouldn't sack him. But I would use the second half of the season as a learning curve as part of his own coaching development. He will actually learn more from the second half of the season than the first. If mistakes have been made, learn from them and improve.
I actually believe we have improved as a team but have been found wanting when mental toughness is required, where have we improved ????? results do not back you up there, we have got worst under laudrup and he cant carry on talking the talk if he cant walk the walk......He is proving that he has very limited management skills to manage a premiership team.....thank god Brendan left us in good shape and playing good football because if laudrup had started his change earlier then we would not be celebrating another season in the premiership we would be swapping places with cardiff however much you think the sun shines out of laudrups arse......If he loses the remaining games left then Jenkins must sack him for the good of the club...
