Your posts on this thread alone suggest you either have a case that I have lost the confidence of you and a significant number of other users on here (doesn't have to be a majority) - OR that you are once again holding a middle finger up to OUR rules, our posters and us as mods, on the three offences listed. Now if I was the tyrant you make me out to be, I'd simply invoke the permanent ban you were warned about months ago, using the contents of the OP and your other posts above as more than sufficient grounds for action. However, users on here have a right to expect a more gentlemanly approach from their mods. So rather than take the action you've so kindly (naively?) handed to me on a plate, I'll allow you the opportunity to go first old son. In your OP you openly accuse me of many things: a shammer, liar, censor, tyrant, manipulator, power hungry, autocrat, hypocrite, sell-out. I take it you have evidence to back this up, cos if you don't I think you'll find it's likely to be an awful big step on the way back down to earth! However, if what you allege is true, I wholeheartedly agree, people certainly don't deserve a mod like that on this board of ours. Therefore, as the enlightened one, you Swords now have both the rostrum and a duty to get that mod gone - but to achieve that you will first have to substantiate your claims. Shouldn't be too difficult though, since just about everything we do on here is on written record. Concentrate on each of the OPs since they make clear what was being asked for. (Many of the replies missed the point completely, despite the number of times some of us tried to refocus people.) In the meantime, to assist you further, I'll get the revised rules and guidelines document up for scrutiny. If you can get the support of, say, 15 of the 80 to 100 or so board users to express a lack of confidence in me as mod, my time's clearly up and I won't hesitate to walk. However, if you fail to achieve those lowly figures, your claims will be seen as spurious / vexatious and your motives open to question. At that time the initiative will be in the hands of the (other) mods. If they find that your motives are simply related to the joy you get out of causing a rumpus (wumming, baiting or trolling) for nowt other than the helluvit, I fear the only way you'll ever get back on this site will be under a different user-name and a complete transformation of character! Tbh, I know I've annoyed a few on here for actually doing the complete opposite of what you accuse me of: being too liberal and holding back on countless 'opportunities' to get you banned altogether in the past. Perhaps I should have acknowledged and acted on their concerns. Trouble was there were also the views of a number of (other) respected users to be taken into account, readers who find the sparks coming off your audacious and abrasive drivel amusing. Well I dont normally delve into this kind of thread simply because I come on here for QPR and not to get involved in stuff like this. But its clearly getting to the stage where (as Brix has stated in his last post no81) Brix has pretty much asked if around 15 members agree with Swords then he will walk. So I feel the need to add my two pence worth. I agree with the majority on this thread - I can see nothing wrong with what Brix and the other mods have done regarding the review/rules etc. Nor have I noticed a change really. And the reason I have noticed no change is because, in my opinion if you think about what you post, and self moderate (as has been agreed) you wont have any problems. I know the majority already do this, hence the lack of issues generally. Most of the arguments often start with the same people on here tbh. Dont understand why people feel the need to come on here and wind others up tbh. Thats my first and last post in this thread as I have explained my view and the reasons for my support of the current moderators.

Just want Swords to know that if he goes missing without backing up his allegations against me, I'll be asking my co-mods to have a look at the final warning he received months ago (with loads of blighs in between) in the context of the OP on this thread. I'll leave the decision to them to avoid further allegations of tyranny but would simply ask this. Does free speech apply when you call someone a **** just because you feel like it?

Brix, just re read the last paragraph of the OP. Why didnt you tell us all you were a "power hungry sultan with a quest for total domination"? Sounds like you should buy the club!
Brix, you've thrown down the Gauntlet, allow me a run at it. Basically what you're saying is that I have no confidence in you as a Mod and that either you go or I do. It is categorically not the case that I have lost confidence in your capacity as Chief Moderator. I believe you are still, without a shadow of a doubt, the best man to lead us forward into what is essentially the unknown, IE a Summer following our first relegation from the PL in 17 years and a situation where the Club could go totally belly up. I understand the problems you had in keeping control of the place last Summer and I appreciate the fact that you must ensure a similar fallout doesn't repeat itself this year. However, just like I still believe Harry Redknapp is the man to lead us through this turbulent period in our history, I also feel that in some instances he might have made better choices recently. I've also, on occasion, cursed him out of it when I've felt angered by his actions as Manager of the Club. This does not mean, however, that I've lost confidence in the man. I believe him to be a quality Manager and I wouldn't want anyone else in charge of us right now. Sorry if the analogy is crude but I feel the same about you as the titular head of our Community. Nevertheless, I feel I must be totally honest here. I genuinely feel that the rule changes have gone against the grain of what was discussed during the consultation. Essentially two proposals were put forward: One was that there would be a tightening up of the rules (which has indeed occurred as said on the other thread just recently started) and the other, that as a concession to the substantial number of members who opposed such a measure, a sub-forum be opened up to accommodate those who wished to discuss more "meaty" topics. I and a number of others at that time expressed the concern that what could happen is that the Sub-Forum request would be turned down (as it was) yet the other proposition would carry on regardless (which it did), leaving the Forum in a more regulated state than it was before. My grievance, therefore, is that one side got their wish but the other did not, despite most people actually saying that in such circumstances, the status quo should be maintained. The fact that I foresaw this eventuality arising at the proposal stage, and commented on it only to be assured that it would not happen, leaves me somewhat annoyed at your final decision on the whole matter. I just want to quickly add, that without climbing up your A-hole Brix, I have tremendous regard for the amount of work you put into the entire program of Board review. You did put out all considerations for deliberation and my claiming in the OP that you were fitting us all up was, in fact, nonsense. I must admit to playing to the Gallery a bit on that one . How many other Moderators have put in such effort into serving their members not only on this Site, but on any other Site? Not many I would imagine and certainly none with more patience and respect for their associates. Having put as much endeavour, graft and time into such an undertaking and then having it picked apart by some Clown with more time than sense, it must indeed be quite galling. I unreservedly apologise for the vexatious smearing of your character. Didn't mean that sh*t Brix, old buddy. Whilst I stand over my representations made above and believe them to be legitimate causes for concern, I accept that I myself may have taken this whole thing a tad too far. For that I apologise also.
