All the skunk I smoke is grown by people I know. They generally spend it on rent. If Dev smoked as much soapbar as he could for the rest of his life he'd probably only 'line the pocket of gangsters' with about £100. Soapbar is worthless. You cannot compare the impact of smuggling/smoking weed with the impact of smuggling/consuming cocaine. I agree it still is smuggling. But then again so is bringing back loads of ***s on the ferry.
Prohibition of any natural thing is a joke. Be it weed, mushrooms or cocoa. It's a system doomed for failure.
When we are all soon paying exuberant prices for water and are dying of dehydration ill console myself that at least I didn't steal a raindrop from Coca-Cola
On the subject of scruples, though (or lack of), legalisation wouldn't mean immoral practices would be wiped out. There are plenty of legal trades where folk are exploited and used illegally although the trade is legal. Legalising anything won't suddenly make its trade or its practices suddenly moral but you shouldn't be prosecuted for smoking a natural weed whilst it's perfectly legal to get tanked up on the ****ey chemical soup sold as alcopops.
If someone genuinely went up to her in her home town and said that he would kill her kids if she didn't do it why did she not report it to the Police? If she did and they ignored her why has she not now come forward to say that what full details of what happened? If she has got all of this information why are FCO and her MP turning a blind eye? I'm not a naturally cynical person as my posts on this forum testuify but i can't help thinking she's not being entirely open and honest about this.
