    No call.

    Person A says yes but must wait for person B. Person B agrees but must wait for a decision by his client. The client person C is scared to make this decision so must have the decision made from person D even higher. I think my job will depend on someone thousands of kilometres away who will say "stop being silly make the work happen".

    For years we had pet Canaries at home as Mrs W_Y's grandfather used to breed them and they were always called Woody - why you ask? Nothing to do with Woodpeckers Lenny, but Mrs W_Y used to love the Peanuts cartoons at the time and the little yellow bird who is the best friend on Snoopy is called Woodstock, which became Woody. So all Canaries are called Woody in the W_Y household.
    This has given me an idea...

    Happy birthday Dave, hanging the boots up?

    No birthday rep I'm afraid.

    You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to canary-dave again.

    Some belated rep soon.

    As soon as I can.

    Thank you all for the good wishes, I'll let you into a secret, I have just sampled Magner's pear and ginger cider and it is absolutely lush! Thankfully it is only 4% abv so I should reach saturation point before I'm blotto!

    <cheers>
