I think the biggest question that springs up from this thread is, who is more defensive? Who-tun or Blakey?
The thing is, This thread was jogging along really nicely with plenty from both sides and all taking in the humour that it was meant, that was until you started again with your petty vendetta against anybody Ipswich. But oh yes, its all our fault isn't!
Is it me or does anyone else from our side of the fence find it a tad strange that none of the budgies are prepared to defend Chris Hughton on our caption thread!
Its not like they haven't been invited politely? probably under a curfew with the threat of immidiate expulsion if they visit the darkside!
It's because the jury's largely out on him, this is his first full premier league season. He has largely inherited someone else's players and had made additions but it is still not "his" side just yet. I for one am willing to defend Hughton and I believe he should be given a fair crack of the whip in pre-season and the funds to back it up and see where we are at Xmas. That is if we are still in the PL. It's like this year he has had the attitude of buttoning down the hatches to get us through with players that he may not rate and then make his own squad in the summer. At least this is what I hope will happen.
Dave, we're not in the top flight old boy so we are not likely to win any, probably won't next season either. You've not been taking your medication have you.
