Reckon it's despite us getting CL or on condition of?

It wouldn't have mattered as we'd have had top 4 but for that corrupt officiating on Sunday :(

I think he will come regardless. Can't see us not making top 4 anyway, just need to match what Spurs do and not lose to them at home.

They were also the first to break Pep to Bayern. Very reliable source. I just question the timing of it.

I would like to know their source(s)! :)

My guess would be Real Madrid personel. Only club who had anything to gain by revealing Goetze (that plan backfired) trying to unsettle Dortmund. They would know as they were in for him and would have been told of his rejection from the players agents.
Could be the same source who knows the ins and outs with Mourinho and the club, and the goings in Madrid re Falcao.

Just my guess though.

FYI, reports are emerging here in Spain that Mourinho will be leaving Real this summer - destination not given. According to these reports, Ancelotti will be his replacement..

There are heavy rumours gathering real pace that Mourhino will be going to PSG, as not only are they able to offer him more money, but it keeps his dream of taking over United alive.

****ing tosser, if you keep mentioning teams that he is supposed to be going to other than your Mickey Mouse outfit you might get it right you spastic.

Undoubtedly Mourinho has been discussing with Roman behind the scenes how he would want things, hopefully imparting some managerial wisdom in the process. He could easily point to some of the club's weaknesses such as how not giving managers enough time acts as a major disincentive for bringing through young players, which given the massive investment in youth, is basically equivalent to shooting yourself in the foot. Or how the manager must be free to build his squad, and not have unwanted vanity signings foisted upon him. Or how managers, especially those of teams in transition such as ours, must be not be judged over a course of a few weeks, but over a few seasons.

Even if Roman is not prepared to compromise on these above points, or not prepared to offer an attractive enough compensation package, and JM signs for PSG, at the very least he would do well to listen and learn.

Jose Mourinho looked pretty despondent at the final whistle and he has just given an indication of his future plans in a television interview. When asked if he would still be at Real next season, he said: "Maybe no. I want to be where people love me to be."

He's loved at Chelsea...

Yep.....

Oo Oo Oo Officer Dibble Officer Dibble, I think I have a rumour. Inny (not real name, a dferchelseachitchatter and US TV actor) was drinking a coffee in NYC when Roman (who is out cycling) and entourage walk in. Inny gets to sit down and chat with Roman. Inny says he was cool about talking about Chelsea and the bodyguards relaxed and friendly and they took the photo which Inny has been posting to me on FB ever since.

Then a week or so later during the Fulham game Inny comes out with Jose is coming back, I got it from an inside source. I came straight out and asked if he meant Roman. He said no and was evasive, but adamant about Jose. Inny does get to move in these circles, and I'm guessing he means one of the guys tagging around with Roman to make sure no one stole his bike.

Very very teasing interview Jose.

Teasing? He couldn't be less subtle about what he wants if he tried!

Seriously, all this constant speculation about Mourinho is a bit of a case of forest and trees, when from day one, he has been dropping hints left right and centre that he wants to go back to Chelsea. The important factor in all this is not Jose, but Roman.

Champions league qualification will be a largely irrelevant factor in the outcome. The only thing that will prevent his return is Roman being able to swallow some pride, agree to a no interference policy, possibly get rid of Emenalo, and cough up the dough. It'll all come down to how much Roman wants him back.

..... As for the ******ED downright rude post match interviewer...... Should be fired, and the ITV programme editor who gave the order to cut back to Chiles also. Had no idea of the importance of what was being said, no journalistic intuition at all.

I thought it was quite funny, Jose's an egotist and no doubt had it all planned out how he would drop another huge hint about leaving Real and going to Chelsea which would overshadow not only the defeat but all the other news in World football but ITV didn't even give a **** <laugh>

All over bar the shouting! I wonder if he'll have to give some of his compensation package back?

Spuds really are ****ting themselves aren't they? Still continuing to deny it.

When Mourhino was talking about "being where people love me to be" I took that to be nothing more than him saying that he wants to be at a club that actually wants him, as opposed to Real (whom he believes) which doesn't want him. I certainly did not take that as any kind of hint that he will be returning to CFC, and any CFC fan who reads more into it is desperately clinging to straws that aren't even there.

I was listening to an interview on radio yesterday, and there was a journalist who was saying that the big speculation is that PSG are making a massive move for him, but that £ity is also interested. Both of these clubs would "love" to have The Special One (and can afford him), and that is more likely what he was referring to.

My own view is that he'd probably rather stay at Real for at least one more season because he has unfinished business, after a dreadful season (especially domestically). His comments are more than likely a plea to the hierarchy at Real to get behind him and give him a chance to redeem his reputation there, and he's using the interest from abroad (both here and in France) as a stick to beat them with.
