Thanks Reb - super goal. Hope he's back to full fitness ... even then I think that recovering overall victory from the FC Bayern München 1st leg scoreline is perhaps just a bit beyond his magic!

Much as I'm more than happy to see the special one get his nose rubbed in it as often as possible, I have to say fair play to Real Madrid C.F., they certainly had a go tonight - they could and should have been 2 goals up inside the first 20 minutes and had they scored early, could maybe have done it. On the other hand Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund could have had a couple of goals as well and I think, overall, certainly deserved to go through.
Ramos gets away with so much ... a dirty bastard! And a terrible centre back. I thought it was a penalty at the end tho. Glad Dortmund through. Now, will Barca score 5 goals tonight?
Not a lot I can say about that game. I suspect that Josep "Pep" Guardiola i Sala may well have had a hand in advising as to how best to deal with his old team! We were fortunate to get to this stage, in any case, as the intensity of our play has been on the wane for some time plus our defending has been woeful and we haven't enough strength in depth. In a way this result may be for the best as it may lead to much needed rethink and some change. I'm just glad that the career of Lionel Andrés Messi wasn't put at risk tonight. Good luck to FC Bayern München - I hope they win it now especially after losing out last year.
Do Rangers still hold the world record for the biggest ever defeat in a semi final ?? Frankfurt beat them 12-4
