Is there anyone better at researching than me? Who Is it this weekend? Have we had him before the season? Current season statistics reds yellows etc. I only ask as all eyes will be on the football and have this terrible feeling that being so important the referee might just go a bit whistle crazy!
Hull City v Cardiff City (12:45) KEITH STROUD Ryan Johnson and William Smallwood Fourth Official Mark Haywood He has refereed us once this season, in the 1-0 loss against Barnsley in the FA Cup.
Thanks Charlie. That game doesn't seem very memorable for any particular refereeing incidents! Lets hope he goes unnoticed for the right reasons again!
Oh good, someone who was demoted from the select referees list. Two weeks ago, he did the Sheff United v Brentford and managed to dish out 11 yellows, 3 reds and 4 penalties. You'd think we'd get a decent ref for a game of this magnitude.
Talking of refs, how on earth is Chris Foy a PL ref, he was dire on Saturday. Also, anyone know why he was ref, as it was supposed to be Lee Probert.
If he's as bad as that, we'll all be sat on here watching this, over and over...
mr allam should put a very nice bottle of plonk in his dressing room , it been the last game of the season and all
If he's ****e, I call first conspiracy theory - "On 3 January 2012, Stroud became the chief executive of the Bedfordshire Football Association" - based in Dunstable; just 19 miles from Watford.
He was probably a ****. Dire doesn't cover it. I seriously felt like we could have managed better without a ref if the players just had an argument over every decision like when we played on the school playground.
Never posted before but thought I would reg a account just to say good luck to you guys this saturdaynever before wanted my team to lose before but I cant stand watford tbh and feel what they have done this season shouldnt have been allowed but hey ho thats the way it happend. I have read some of the the other bluebirds post on here and I dont know who they think we are sometimes but fck me you are more than able to beat a team that posh done the double over when the points actually mattered for us .Dont get me wrong I think Malky has got a good strong team together but lets be honest we have been the 1 nil masters this season and our top goal scorer has like 8 goals all season. Imo Malky will set out like he always does 451 and hope to steal another 1 nil win by parking the bus after 70 min.Bellars will be there but he has done fck all this season and only got 4 goals for us and looking at the fact Malky had him up top until Jan that is 1 crappy return for a player on 35k a week in the championship.Kimbo is the one to watch out for, amazing playmaker and 1 player top clubs will be looking at next season, you will need to take care of him or he will take control of that midfield alongside Gunnars. Anyway good luck CHAPSHope you make it.
I was hoping that it wouldn't come down to the last game. So much depends on this one result and the chance of us winning it can all be scuppered by a team of officials. Just hope their relatives have money on us getting promoted.
I don't know who you are, and at the moment City aren't equipped with a good set of skills to get the win. But if we do get the win I will track you down, find you and buy you a pint.
Just on the Football League - Championship website, then I clicked on match, then referees and then Match Official Appointments. http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/Appointments/0,,10794~3158271,00.html
I personally think the standard of refereeing, across the board in football in this country, is unacceptably low. Their names are as well known as the players in many cases. For me, that cannot be right. Bunch of celebrity wannabe, incompetent middle aged fatsos. Mainly...
