I don't mind Remy - think he's a very good option to have in our squad and provides some pace. However, I see him as one dimensional and only motivated by money (choosing QPR over Newcastle) - although I don't watch him enough to pass judgement.

Benteke is another good option but Villa will want crazy money for him and there are similar options from Europe at cheaper prices. We can't keep buying from the UK market because of the inflated prices - Williams at £12m? You're having a laugh!

 

I'd rather have Sinclair than Ince but my first option would be neither

I can see a Sinclair deal to replace outgoing Assaidi, that's all. Not a bad swap if the price is right admittedly.

From the relegation teams I'd consider a few players...

Benteke - definitely
Grealish - huge talent
Kone - good back up
Granero - was at Madrid a year ago!
Remy - quality back up
Hoillett - maybe

Would certainly take Benteke in a flash - he's everything Carroll should have been.

I dont think we need to replace Assaidi. He hasnt even done any thing.

 

There's a spot on the bench for a decent winger who can change a game...

 

I hope any wage offer for Remy would take into account that QPR were probably paying him too much in the first place.

 

I hope existing or previous wages don't come into the equation at all. We should offer what WE think they are worth, take it or leave it.

I think he did ok but you can never tell. i mean let face it cisse has looked lost this year hasn't he. quality will out in the end i suppose.

LFC need that option. I don't think we can rely on sturridge as he's quite immature i feel. i think if he doesn't play he won't fight for it and will end up leaving. I am not sure remy is the guy to rely on though.

I would hope lfc can just improve consistency and athleticism this summer, find a new role for gerrard thats not leg work based (he is struggling a wee bit IMO at the end fo the year) and just fill out the squad without disruptions

For me we need defenders, midfielders and a striker.... i can't see us relying on sterling again for months if we want top 4... though a fresh stelring next august could just be a big step up and buzzing.

I think Remy would be a useful addition - his performances at QPR show he is able to perform in this league. QPR will be looking to trim their sails, Redknapp has admitted this. You can bet some players will have release clauses and others simply won't play in the Championship and 'engineer' a move instead.

Remy's performances (5 goals in 11 games) at QPR would make him a £15mil signing IMO - would they agree a swap for Carroll perhaps? He's proven in the Championship...

 

remy is 8mil. if he fit and has the right attitude thats fine. if he's out for moeny then whats the point. qpr struggled to do anythign under redknapp bar defend a bit better so those 5 goals aint a bad return.
