Circa you seem so confident Watford will do it, why not put ever penny you have on them winning it. They're decent odds if you're as confident as you make out.
have made a good few bob this year backing watford on their travels, they were underestimated by the bookie chaps for a while, then over done, then value was back against leicester... the odds being offered for either side are crap, the betting in play market might be fun----say watford take an early lead, Hull price will drift, but one goal is all you need.....the 12 45 ko suits no one ....whose smart idea was that ...murdoch maniacs no doubt ..
Sometimes there's no logic behind predictions. Back in 2004 we played Tranmere, we were 2nd, they were 3rd. I predicted we'd win 6-1, we did. You never know in football. (Although it helped my prediction somewhat that both their 'keepers got injured and Whitmore ended up in net). For the record, I'd be very surprised if we scored 4, I'd be fairly surprised if we scored 2.
i,m banging £200 on Watford to go up. Win Win... If I loose which I hope to, then £200 is what I recon I would have spent on playoffs and a trip to wembley (if we were that lucky) If I win then the winnings will nearly pay for playoff games and possible wembley trip.
Because Leeds players have nothing else to play for. Quite a few Cardiff players will get a first start for a while (like maynard) and will wanna prove a point for next season. Last chance to make an impression before transfer window opens and they splash big for a season in PL. "In our hands" means nothing if you're playing the champions and the team chasing is playing a far weaker opponent. I'd rather be in watford's shoes right now. I'd feel more confident if a draw would get us through no matter what watford do. But I can't see anything other than a win for watford.
I'm not that wealthy but I might just do that if the odds are good. watford will win 4-0. We will need a win vs Cardiff. Our only hope is watford choking in front of goal and it ends 0-0... otherwise as soon as watford score it will be the same result as their game vs blackburn. Honestly, all you're clinging onto is the old "anything can happen in football"... which is somewhat true but this odds business doesn't really deal with that. That's why I'm talking about odds specifically and not hunches or faith and hope. Leeds are 2nd from bottom in the table away from home. watford have scored 40 goals at home out of 22 games, that's almost 2 a game only conceding just over 1.15/game leeds have averaged 1.15/goal scored away from home and conceding 1.85/game. the only comfort I take maybe is that the last time watford beat leeds at vicarage road it was 20 years ago... but I suspect those games weren't end of season games, with one side fighting for nothing.
Malky is so concerned about doing Watford a favour he's already said he's putting a weakened team out. Cardiff have less to play for than Leeds. People like Maynard and Campbell may well be fired up but it is doubtful they'll be match-fit. We do need to get stuck into them early doors though. I think we have every chance if we can put a performance in. I do expect Watford to turn Leeds over however.
we have been in this position all latter stages of the season, only being 1 point ahead of Watfud and thinking that we could be caught! They couldn't capitalize then, and I don't think that they will be able to capitalize now.
Circa is a WUMMING ****. I have got no idea why you even respond to him, I have had that child on ignore, it is not worth a rise in blood-pressue.
If the odds were a thousand to one I wouldnt bet on it. I am literally the worst person when it comes to betting. Every week I buy a lotto ticket, the odds are 1 in 4 get a free ticket (like 2 numbers right or something) I am 31 and I have never won a free ticket or any money at all.
I think the odds are slightly stacked in Watford's favour, only because their run of form going into this game is far better than ours. Judging by recent performances, Watford will turn Leeds over, and we will get trounced by Cardiff. But football is a funny game. Maybe City's recent dip will be suddenly fixed for next Saturday, maybe Cardiff don't care now with one foot already on the beach, maybe the pressure finally gets to Watford like it got us a few games back, and they suddenly lose form and confidence.
If I were MM, i,d want the lesser team in the EPL with me as it would increase my chances of staying up....
All these people putting consolation bets on Watford, if we get 2nd don't throw your betting slip away. The odds for promotion includes through the playoffs. They must do because I looked last week and Brighton were included at sensible odds, but the only way they could have taken second was if we got a points penalty.
Cardiff and Hull have the same form over the past 12 games. 16 points. Cardiff W3 D7 L2. // Hull W5 D1 L6 If Hull City had not messed up the last 3 games then tomorrow would be for the title.
But we have, you've got to stop all this if only bollocks. The season isn't over 42 games Tickles. It's like Mo Farah blowing up on the last lap of a race then saying "well I won up to the last lap". You'd just think that he didn't have enough in the tank to finish the job, which may be what we're saying about ourselves this time tomorrow. If we finish third and Watford pip us to second it's because of what happened over the full season and we can have no complaints.
