Scary how much more entertaining this game is compared to yesterday's relegation affair.

And now 2-1. First 25 were entirely dull; now, it's pretty manic.

On the basis that much bigger clubs than ours we be after Benteke (Spurs instantly jump to mind - would any Spurs fan not want to replace Adebayor with Benteke?), then yes I would very much approve signing Weimann.

 

Entertaining game! All good goals too.

 

Having watched a fair bit of Villa this year, if offered the choice between he/Benteke on this team, I wouldn't instantly choose Benteke. Probably after some deliberation, but I'm in love with Weimann's skill-set and movement; he just pops up wherever there's a threat to present, and at 21 he's only going to get better.

 

Wouldn't want to be a Referee in this game, but he seems to have mislaid his cards?

Benteke has saved my fantasy football team for the week

 

Sunderland are also the Monday night game next weekend. It'll be interesting to see how they play in that game, on the back of this one, if Wigan have beaten WBA earlier that weekend.

 

I'm also expecting Villa to beat Norwich, particularly given the recent form of each.

Of course, if Wigan were to lose to WBA, then we're possibly looking at quite a boring end to the season.
