Interesting you've elected to sign up Kisnorbo, what's your rationale? Realise we need depth in our defence and if he was our own player I wouldn't say get rid, but don't see how he's done enough to earn himself a permanent deal.

I watched Kisnorbo play for us against Villa and he was outstanding at the heart of our defence that day! He is a seasoned professional and a quality defender and we do need a squad of quality players.

I would rather not keep N'daw, he has done well for us and definitely been a rock in the middle of our midfield when we needed him most, but as the season has progressed he has gone down hill. I don't think he would have much of a future for us and might be on some big wages, I would much rather let Hyam progress along side someone like Wordsworth. Also remember Tabb might be signing for us soon, and he prefers a CM role so a combination of Hyam/Wordsworth/Tabb depending on form/fitness I think could work very well.

I would also keep Drury, can't be on very high wages and is a decent enough squad player to have around in case of an injury.

Taylor I would definitely keep, looked fantastic at the start of the season. Hopefully the court case is a misunderstanding and he doesn't end up banged up!

Apart from those I agree with you on the others

I'd say alot depends on who we can get in and in a way it's a shame we haven't got more youngsters able to step up to the plate, because I feel some of our players we are only keeping because we have a lack of cover. Also perhaps we would be wise to offer some of them another contract so we don't need to replace them, so we don't need a whole load of new signings like we have done in the past few seasons. I'm really struggling with who we should get rid of or keep atm because currently the squad we have I'd say there is a place for all of them.

GK - I'm not a big fan of ALB but he has been a good proffessional, Brown I haven't seen anything of in recent years but in the past I have been very impressed, I think he certainly has more talent than ALB. Loach has never really let us down and it wouldn't be a disaster if he was our no1 next year but in an ideal world I'd like to see us get in another GK with Loach as no2 and perhaps a youngster as 3rd choice!!

Hewitt - keep, outstanding prospect. Hope we see alot more of him next season.
Chambers - Keep, good CB at this level and has built a good partnership with Smith
    Smith - Keep
    Cresswell - keep
Stearman - Sign, has been great for us, however I would I ideally like to see him signed as a CB for competition with Chambers and Smith
Kisnorbo - no idea, haven't seen enough of him, although we do need back up for CB
Mings - again not seen enough of him to judge but hopefully would be good back up for Cresswell
Brown - No idea, we need CB cover

So summary of defence, keep all of our contracted players and sign up Stearman as competition for CB but then we need 1 more CB and a RB to provide Hewitt with competition/back up.

Edwards - Not been his biggest fan this season, certainly has quality but doesn't shown enough in games given his ability to make things happen. Controvesial I know but I wouldn't be dissapointed if he was released.
N'Daw - no thanks, very poor on the ball. I think he could do well in a 451 but certainly a no in a 442.
Lee Martin - Keep if the deal is right but use only as a RW, would certainly need to be replaced if not offered a new contract
Wordsworth - Keep, looks like he has a lot of quality on the ball and definitely looks like he could score a few goals from midfield, however not sure if can be the type of player to dominate the midfield as a play maker.
Drury - I've always thought he's looked like a decent player and our form always seems to be good when he's in the team but he doesn't seem to ever quite step up to the plate. I think we need a dominating playmaker to replace him.
Tabb - Sign, solid performer at this level and a good player. Play him primarily as a CM
Hyam - Keep, needs a midfield partner
Carson - Keep, always looked decent when I've seen him, however that was a few years ago now!!

In summary of midfield, I think we have 3 good CM's in Wordsworth, Tabb and Hyam but I think we really need a CM playmaker who always demands the ball, preferably to play next to Hyam. I don't think we have good enough wingers so at least 2 are needed although I think Martin and Carson do have the ability to step up to the plate on the RW and LW respectively, if they do is another matter.

Chopra - Given his quality you always feel he has unfinished business here and would be interesting to see him in an ITFC team that would be able to create more chances. He either needs to be used or got rid of and if he is we need a real good penalty box striker as a replacement unless Mick thinks one of the youngsters is ready for the step up.
JET - Keep, has the ability to be a game changer, would like to see him used in a more central role, perhaps him and Nouble can form a good partnership?
McGoldrick - Sign, good player but not sure if he'll get the goals, will need a player up top as a physical presence and attacking players around him to support
    McLean - No thanks
Taylor - Keep, looks a great little player although I'm struggling to see how he will fit in under the current set up, we've got so many good players who are best in the 'hole' behind the main striker yet 442 doesn't overly facilitate this.
Murphy - Completely unsure, wouldn't be dissapointed if we signed him but at the same time I think there are better players out there. Always puts in a good shift for the team though, I think he's one of those players who isn't outstanding himself but can bring the best out in others.
Nouble - Keep, looks to me like a player I wouldn't normally be a fan of but certainly potential there, not sure if we can rely on him to be a first team regular yet though

Summary of strikers, we've got a good mix but I still feel we've got a bit of an awkward balance uptop our most talented strikers are IMO JET, Taylor & McGoldrick but most of them are best in the hole and wouldn't I feel really compliment each other. Then other than that we've got Chopra who on his day is one of the best strikers in the division but hasn't really shown it. Then I'm not sure Murphy and Nouble are good enough to be the 'target man' striker. I always feel what ever partnership we have we are lacking something upfront whether that be a physical presence or a striker to be on the shoulder of the last defender.

I agree with most of what you say, but keep N Daw?? Powder puff challenges and dreadful distribution hes everything we dont need in midfield.
