... I'm going to attempt to stir up a bit of positivity on here. While briefly browsing through some of the posts on here this afternoon, it feels like we've already been consigned to relegation, but this isn't the case!

It goes without saying that, if this attitude is transferred across to Carrow Road on Saturday, then we shall struggle to get anywhere against Villa and will probably end up losing the game. I've already predicted to friends off here that, if things go badly, chants of 'there's only one Paul Lambert' will be started, and, while none of you on here are guilty of clinging on to the past, that would be the worst thing to do.

Instead, let's get behind Chris Hughton and the brilliant crop of players he has helped to buy and develop. It is only with 100% backing for the team that we can truly get behind the players and push them on to the 3 points that they need to see in a third season of PREMIER LEAGUE football.

In my opinion at least, keeping this club in this division, even by the skin of its teeth, is a terrific achievement for any manager and it should be applauded, not criticised.

We have a large quota of skilled, dedicated players who have given everything for this club and who now deserve our help. So, instead of calling Holt fat, Hoolahan short, or Russell Martin ineffective, get behind them and remind them why this club is reknowned for its 110 years of great support, as exemplified by the fantastic turnout expected for the youth team tonight.

    In Hughton We Trust,

    We ****ing Love Grant Holt,

    HFM.

I'm glad I'm in Vietnam and not Norwich. Because if I went to the game against Villa, I would want to be positive. I would want to shout for the players and inspire them. But I know in my heart I expect us to lose. Beefy would hate me for that, I'm sure, but I cannot look at the dross we have produced for months now and believe that we are suddenly going to turn into a decent team, especially against lower opposition. At least if I watch on TV here or online, I'm not screwing up the team's chances.

As I have only walked away from Carrow Road 3 times this year having watched us lose a PL match, (Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea), I am going to the next 2 games expecting us to draw one and win one.

This is a very good point GG, and the last loss at home was in December.

That's how I see it GG - draw against the Villains and a narrow win against the Baggies who will (hopefully) be thinking of the beach ....

Just playing devil's advocate here, ocf, but West Brom didn't look like they were on the beach on Saturday... I do think our best chance oc 3 more points this season is against Villa. It's our most important game too.

They did look good against the Saints to be fair .... I'm still hopeful of a narrow win against them though...

Man U, Everton and Arsenal have all had pretty good seasons, and we beat them (narrowly) at Carrow Road.

I can't understand why anyone thinks we're going to lose the West Brom or Villa games - we've only lost to City, Chelsea and Suarez at home this season and the Brummies are not in the same league. I think it's highly unlikely and we'd have to play (even) worse than we did against Stoke or Wigan.

I think we will probably draw both, but I'm hoping (praying) for a win in at least one.

I don't think we'll go down, and I alway sing my heart out when I am at a match. This forum is to express my opinions on, so I keep my negative opinions to myself generally at the match, never shout them anyway.

That's how I think it should be.

That's fair enough Little, but some people do convey their negative attitude at the game, and it just doesn't help at all!

I completely agree, that's never helpful. Often I say to my brother or dad at the match someone is having a bad game but never so everyone can hear me. Having been questioned on this board as a supporter today I felt that I wanted to say how I go about supporting Norwich as well.

Can't see us losing at home to Villa. Only Chelsea, Man City (each by one goal) and Liverpool have done that.

Well said, half time and after the game I'll express my opinion, but never when the players are on the pitch.
