Sounds rather ominous to me. I think that Harry should be given the opportunity to build something, but if he is not up for the challenge (and it's a big one), then we need to go for a young hungry pup who has cut his teeth in the lower leagues.

Harry was talking about taking you into the championship yesterday despite how difficult it was so I cannot see how he can do a u turn so quickly. Basically he owes you something as he did not produce the results in the premiership. Why take the job is he had no intention of seeing it through, he knew the stakes were high. jck

Hmmm... Ominous indeed. Sounds like 48 hours of frantic scrabbling through the yellow pages to find a new manager to me.
1. He's staying, announcement to confirm it and enable planning to move forward 2. He's staying, but as director of football with Cotterill taking over 3. He's resigning, no stomach for the fight, wants a part time international role 4. He's retiring completely, to do telly with the journos he loves so much 2 is the nightmare scenario, unless its not Cotterill. 3 or 4 my favourites.
Somehow don't think its a sacking. Surely we can't afford to be paying 2 unemployed ex -managers 3 million a year each? Plus entourage costs.........

FFS. An announcement will be made in the next 48 hours. So already we have several people saying that he's jumping ship and they're looking for a new manager in the next 48 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had a meeting this morning to discus the squad. That is all we know. I am sure that they have all put their cards on the table. Harry might have said that he wants to think about it for 24 hours. TF et al might have said that he wants to think about it for 24 hours. Harry might have told the board to F off. The board might have told Harry to F off. They might have decided that Harry should go upstairs to become Director of Football and they are going to look around for a bright, young manager. Harry might have told them that the Sunday papers were about to expose him as a cross-dresser.
