How about this: The Time Wizard This can only be used by the Time Wizard once in the game, but they are allowed to revive any one player that was lynched or killed at some point. The beauty is, this ability can be used even if they die, so the Time Wizard could revive themselves if they wanted to or others from beyond the grave.
I like this. Does the time wizard have to be just a time wizard then. He cannot be a time wizard whilst being a fan.
He works in the same way the cop and the doc do. He is innocent, and allowed to lynch people (just like a fan would) but PMs in the night cycle like the cop and the doc. Even if he's dead, the Time Wizard can still PM you if he hasn't already used his ability. Once he's used his ability though, he is to all intents and purposes, a fan. please log in to view this image
ok there are a few objectives I have seen. 1: The Lyncher. The 3rd party fan will be told another fan to lynch. That fan is unaware they are being targeted. The 3rd party fan wins if the Lynched fan gets voted to die during the day. Being killed by the mafia doesnt count and will mean the lyncher will lose. They will act as a fan but they will be against the whole fans cause. 2: The Protector. The 3rd party fan will be told another fan to protect. That fan is unaware they are being protected. The 3rd party fan wins if the fan survives from being voted to die during the day. Being killed by the mafia will end the objective. If the fan they are protecting gets killed then the objective will then be changed to Survivor. They will act as a fan but they will be against the whole fans cause. 3: The Survivor. The goal is to last to the end. If the fans win and the 3rd party fan is still alive then the winner will be the 3rd party fan. 4: The Cult Leader. The goal is recruit 2 people and survive. if they die then they lose. during night phases they pick 1 fan to join (fan or mafia). that fan is then told they are in the cult by PM and they will then have to vote for who the cult leader decides. The Cult Memebers will win collectivly. If the Cult leader dies then the cult is disbanded. Cult members dont know other cult members only the cult leader. if Mafia has been added as a Cult member then obviously the Cult leaders cover will be blown obviously the fans and mafia will not know these peoples roles. Cops can be told when investigated. Win conditions will not be revealed until the end of the game
Lyncher sounds good how often can he use this though? I have to post him an objective then? If he fails he could get found out like the killers do and be voted off right?
He only has 1 objective in the game that you give him when you dish out roles. He wins if the objective is complete. so. if he dies before completing the objective then he fails. If the Fans win and the 3rd party fan is still alive and the target is lynched: 3rd Party Fan wins If the Fans win and the 3rd party fan is dead before the fan gets lynched: Fans Win If the Fans win and the 3rd party fan is dead after the fan gets lynched: 3rd Party Fan wins if the Mafia kill the Lynch target and win: The Mafia win if the Mafia kill the Lyncher before the target is lynched and the other fans: The Mafia win
I can't mention any of this in the story can I. Can the target be a killer? Time Wizard seems a more simpler role to be honest, I don't want to dish something confusing for someone in this game really.
no it all has to be secret till the end. I guess you can target anyone as knowbody will know anybodys roles

I'm in. I don't think Cults would work, as they'd get ridiculously powerful by the end of the game. It would effectively reduce things to one player versus the killers. If a killer was recruited too, how would they handle conflicting loyalties?
I guess if a killer was recruited then they will follow the cult leader in the day but kill him off at night knowing who he is. I guess this one will only be good if we had more players.
