Now we won't get to see the legend that is Andy Dawson one last time and give him the send off he fully deserves.

I think he means last Saturday. If we were up now, with first also out of reach, Daws would probably have started.

Still - there is still his testimonial to come. Any ideas who that will be against yet?

Correct. We should be home and hosed now. We could have given a few of the squad players the Barnsley and Cardiff games. I hope SB gives him another year as cover and to work on the coaching side. Dawson would be a great help with the reserves in the Barclays Premier reserve league as an example.

No chance, he's gone as a player. I doubt we will see him as a coach either.

If he wants to be a coach I would be surprised if City dont offer him some sort of role

Like Windass who has been crying out to get back into the game? There's no sentiment in the football business.

Wow how full of **** are you?

Sorry if got this wrong Karl but weren't you the one cheering Watford on vs lester in the hope of prolonging your excitement (and ultimately forcing Bruce to play a strong side vs Barnsley and Cardiff)

do you not see the irony?

Think windass would have to settle down before making a coach of himself. He'd take more managing from Steve Bruce than the squad itself <laugh>

Why dont we ask if Andy Dawson can run along the concourse in the East stand with a loud speaker waving is arms encouraging the fans to sing, that will keep him fit and create some atmosphere, if he won't do it have we got a volunteer?

Dont be so sure. He would be a good fit with the reserves in the BPL reserve league. We need people like Dawson at the club to help the kids. No harm in keeping his playing registration just in case like.

Nothing to do with sentiment. We need role models / father figures if you like. Someone to look upto. Andy DAWSON FITS THAT BILL PERFECTLY. Especially after the Barmby fiasco of last season and his loss to the club.

Dawson has been a great servant to the club, but he's no more likely to play in a competitive game for Hull City than I am.

If the players showed the same passion as you did running down the stand to shout at an opposition manager...we'd be sorted.

Passion ? More like embarrassing. Maybe a pee shooter or a dart gun would be more appropriate though. ;)

You think there's any chance that severely abusing Malky for ninety minutes will get us a result?

I'll give it a go, but he's quite a nice bloke, I'd far rather we were playing a team managed by Colin, or Pardew, or even Poyet.
