guys this is a PFA team so it is voted on right? So footballers voted for de gea.... maybe they did vote on improvement as de gea has improved lately over where he was at the start of the year or pre christmas and we all know its what occurs during voting not the whole year that counts. I think ferdinand is a joke but other than that... well hazard.. faded really badly... as did MICHU! and thats it i don't mind... no big deal!
yeah it's no big deal MITO and De Gea has put in some good performances and make a fair few excellent saves. As for the GG, clean sheets don't tell us anything about a keeper, Hart has made some clangers and Kompany and co deserve as much or more credit for the amount of City's clean sheets
Aww Ruff, I know you got Henderson posters pillowcase and duvet set Thou protest too much, it's obvious You're too Ruff for Allen, you might injure him
Pretty much. I think the players seem to judge their peers based on improvement - Cech has probably been overlooked because he has been performing at this level for years. I reckon De Gea got a lot of votes from players who recognise how tough it is for a young goalkeeper to display that much improvement when the media are focused on their every move. Particularly given how so many good keepers struggled at Utd after Schmeichel left, and all the rumours about De Gea being dropped / sold over the season. Probably a similar thing with Rio - players recognise how hard it is for a 34 year old with a back problem to still be playing at the highest level, and to be honest there haven't been many outstanding CBs in the league this year - Terry has faded, Kompany has looked quite ordinary, Evans has been good but not outstanding. Also bemused as to how Hazard got into the list ahead of Michu, and even Cazorla and Walcott who've been better.
yes mostly, though there is no way ferdinand should be on the list at all. just wans't that good. I agree on hazard with carzorla but not michu... michu plaed striker not midfield and frnakly he's faded so badly.
Pretty ****e team. De Gea has improved but to call him the best keeper in the league is totally laughable and even more laughable is the racist camel being in the team.
Think even Carrick is better than Rio at CB. No problems with the rest of the team (including De Gea in goal).
Rio's in his twilight, I think if he's 27 and played this season as he has, he wouldn't be in there and also it's one of the easiest CB names to think of. "Ermm.. Rio?" De Gea, probably not much between him and Hart in terms of performances. I think Cech has beat them both
