Hopefully they will be soon, and we will make it a full and noisy stadium. Whether or not that will affect the outcome of the game is a different matter. Crowds do not always influence the outcome of a game, nor do they have zero affect on it. There is a fuzzy link- sometimes they can, sometimes they can't. The early kick off at City, like everywhere else, usually means a subdued and quiet crowd. We will have another week of media hype about £120 million, about the team choking, about the 12th man, Deano's thoughts etc, which will only make things worse. Not sure what SB can do now. The Hornsea relaxation didn't work. More nervous than the previous game. The fans have had their bluff called once too often recently and the old battle cry of "Make some noise- it's a massive game!" will fall on some deaf ears. It's not true to say it's completely our of our hands. We don't know which Cardiff (or Leeds) will turn up. But the stark truth is that we cannot rely on our team to do it unaided, and we cannot rely on our crowd to do it for them.
They've only been given half. Surely someone knows if the rest are available to us? The remaining tickets in the west upper will be gone within half an hour when the ticket office opens!
SB should take them to Witherensea and say they will have to go back their every day unless they win against Cardiff.I would out run Bellamy if I was threatened with that. The stuff of nightmares
Barnsley was probably the worst team we could have played under those circumstances, given their style of play and that early goal silenced our fans. I expect the opposite against Cardiff where it will be a test of quality rather than brute determination. Will we pass the test? Much depends on what Bruce does this week. As ever, though, all we can do is support, but the club MUST do what it can to set the scene!
We're not allowed to put North Stand tickets on general sale, due to the Safety Advisory Group(OB), claiming it's not safe to do so. We can use it for freebies for the Uni or for Hull Boys League, so hopefully, that's what we've done.
The fans have done their bit, nearly 6000 were there against Barnsley, with a decent crowd at the KC for Bristol. Its up to the players now. They know we are behind them, so lets hope they come through. If not, there's always next year.
That'll be after all those injuries in the North Stand each week when we were in the PL. Oh no wait. There weren't any. Bloody OB.
The club have just announced that the north stand will be available for city fans. Smart move, we need a raucous atmosphere from all angels if we're going to help the team over the line.
Hull City Official ‏@hullcityteam We have opened up an area of the North Stand for #hcafc fans - but the advice is that if you want a ticket, buy ASAP to avoid disappointment
AGREED ^^^ this. Both need Vast improvement from saturday like. What a load of old tosh that is. Whoever made that decision should be locked in a room for a year and made to listen to Phil Brown sing for the same period of time. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Utter stupidity. So the Phil Brown threat has actually worked wonders then ?
