Yeah unbelievable. They get a penalty in the 90th minute, If they score they get promoted, They end up hitting the crossbar, Doncaster win the ball and hit them on the counter to score and win the league <laugh>

One player I think we should snap up though is Bradley Wright Phillips. Only if we lose one of baldock or davies. Great player at that level and will score 17+

I want Sheff UTD to win the p/o and wolves to stay up. Our best chance on going up then. Would also like to see Cheltnham win promotion so we can have a west country mini league

    City
    Yeovil
    Swindon
    Cheltenham

Can see the top 6 looking like this next year (in no particular order)

    Bristol City
    Coventry
    MK Dons
    Peterborough
    Barnsley
    Tranmere

The last two managers and SoD think the team is ok. Saying that didn't Del say in Decemeber that he wanted 2 defenders? And Millen knew after Caulker that they needed another one. Let's hope this one does as well.

But give Del his dues he said this time last year he didn't want to be talking to the reporters like that or worse! He lived up to that and got the remainder of his contract paid.

League 1 looks piss poor if im honest :( Could have the likes of Aston villa in the championship next season!

What is even worse is we have lost our bye to the 3rd round in the FA cup. Give city there due they always made it that far :)

That league is as weak as it could be,nothing other than promo is a option.
Simply put no promotion is a failure.
We do not have a divine right,we have to make sure it happens with good management and hard work.

Wolves are basically relegated now. Cant see them getting out of it. Barnsley and Peterborough will fight it out for the final place

You need to change your way of thinking before next season. Div One is a very hard league to get out of. Ask Sheffield Utd and Charlton. Could take a few seasons.

Sam Baldock joining Charlton for 250,000. You might sign Bradley Wright-Phillips on a free and Danny Green for 100,000.

we wont be letting baldock go for 250k mate, We had to pay 1.5 million for him. Plus he's on a long contract stick a 1 in front of that sum and you might be getting somewhere <ok>

Also when Charlton and Sheff utd were in league 1 it was a lot lot harder. Every championship team will look at league 1 and see how weak it is, It is weak but its whether we can take advantage of it or not. A top 6 finish should be our goal. I would rather go up via play offs, More exciting :)

Wolves coming down has to be one of the worst to join us. They will be massive in that division and hopefully they really go into meltdown. But you have to hand it to Dean Saunders that's 2 clubs in 2 seasons he has taken out of the championship the wrong way. <laugh>

Said it before and will say it again, if anyone thinks that league is ****e and we should get promo are living in a different world for 2 reasons.
1 - No one on here has the faintest idea who our playing staff will be year, for all we know it could be completely new as some will be out of contract, some will want to leave and some we will probably try and sell to force them out.
2 - it's not an easy league as someone else mentioned ask Sheff Utd bigger crowds than us and probably been in higher leagues longer than us. Coventry in a mess at the moment but could turn it around. Along with others that could become good PNE. And the others that don't go up through play-offs.

We need to be prepared for this league, because walk in the park it ain't and the sooner we realise this the better. If it don't start off good fans will be on the players backs, other teams will see us as a good scalp and up their game.

Wolves have a £25m wage bill currently! Let's see that fit in to the FFP rules of wages = 60% of turnover. Although, I don't know if parachute payments count..?

Just looked and they'll get £16m in parachute payments next year... Bit of a piss take that.
