I'd say talks bollocks is too far Piskie. It's just the electricity that the two north London clubs generate between each other gets to supporters and this is the first era for a while that we've been near you. Arsenal used to contest titles. 21 points adrift now is a huge margin.

They've done poorly against most of the top sides and have needed a staggering number of late goals to see off many of the lesser ones.

I don't there is a lot of reason for optimism for Arsenal fans. There seemed to be a lot of angst among them today.

Now, here's the thing, PESKIE (and I'm going to take you through this very, very slowly), do you think (a) I truly believed AFC would really go "spiraling down" the league, or (b) I said that to be controversial in order to get an (all to predictable) reaction from you Gooners? Now, before you open your trap and jump in with the wrong reply, consider that you have already asserted that I write these things to get attention. So, did I write that "prediction" truly believing it was true (in which case I am not seeking attention, but merely stating an honestly held view, the same as any other poster asserts his view, or did I say it knowing that it was outlandish and controversial and would probably evoke a reaction to gain the attention that (according to you) I crave.

Think very carefully, PESKIE, and examine your reply against the workings of your own logic. If you try really hard you might actually arrive at the correct answer for once.
