    This. We will inevitably fall short. win next week, but a loss to Fulham and a bore draw vs QPR.

    With what is a new team there is no telling how we'll do, you have about as much of an idea as an orange, or BB.

    I am kinda thinking\hoping we are gonna do Everton on GD if we beat them and they draw their last game. We have to win the last few games!! 6th place is bad enough <laugh>

    I saw that the BBC have said they are both relegated but they are both nine points behind Villa in 17th with three games to go so they they could surely stay up on goal difference and therefore, they aren't officially relegated yet?

    I thought so too. Either BBC standards have fallen even further, or the permutation of fixture results means they can't stay up.

    They are both down because Wigan play Aston Villa on the last day.

    Reading/QPR need Aston Villa to lose all their remaining games and Wigan to only get 2 more points. Then relegation will go down to goal difference. But if Villa lose their last game of the season to Wigan, then Wigan get more than 2 points and Villa, QPR and Reading all go down (assuming Wigan and Aston Villa have already lost all their other games in the first place).
