With the new TV deal coming in this summer, all three promoted teams will suddenly have 'resources'. But of course that's of little use (intra-PL) when the other 17 teams also are given those 'resources' (and more!). I'm not sure if anyone will do a Reading though, and just not spend. As the money will be there, I think everyone will try and give themselves a shot at survival - at the very least, I can see the promoted teams maybe mopping up the best that the Championship has to offer, so that should the worst happen nine months later, they are left with one superb Championship squad (Reading arguably don't even have that!). I slightly fear Watford, because of the contacts which their owner presumably has abroad. The TV deal might not have a huge impact between PL teams (save for just artifically inflating prices, yet again), but there's every chance that it will have an impact between a PL team and a foreign team (or, as I say, a Championship team). Coming to the PL will become even more attractive, from a financial perspective, than it already is. But the rest of them, in particular Hull and Palace, I would not fear one iota. Like I say, whatever they spend their money on, the rest of us will no doubt spend ours on better.

Better not be too quick to suggest that the newly promoted teams will do badly....isn't that what QPR said about us?

Me, Harry, with a new team, in the Premier League, with my reputation. They are going to be broke by August after he's bought his new squad. lol
The only good thing about QPR coming straight back up is that they now have the opportunity to go straight back down.
