    Hmm very interesting article that!

Even though it's from the Sun.

Cant understand why we're fighting so hard to keep Enrique, who wont even negotiate, and effectively forcing Barton out, who has expressed a desire to stay.

  4. I'll always love the Toon no matter what but sometimes i regret buying a season ticket. All i'm doing is supporting Ashley in his attempts to rape this club with the help of his mate fat **** Llambias.

I like turning up for games but i think if i'm giving money to Ashley he'll just stay on for longer and i'm helping him **** on the club until it's right in the ****.

    This.

It's not a matter of 'if' Enrique leaves its a matter of 'when' he leaves

Yes but if more money is coming into the club the sooner someone will come along and make an offer, no money coming in more chance of Cashley staying longer.

  7. I said this about Barton AND Tiote ages ago but people were crying about the ****ing wage cap.

Lets face ****ing facts. The wage cap will do **** all for the club being as low as 50k. All it's doing is saving Ashley money so he can make as much money as he can, and he's trying to make the club profitable again so he can sell it, and he'll do that by selling anyone for the right price, he doesn't give a **** about the team and the fans.

Don't get rid of the wage cap altogether, but make it higher than 50 grand man! Not many players of top quality will agree to sign for that.

Sack Smith, Ameobi, Perch and Routledge and give Barton and Tiote the left overs from the **** that's left from them leaving.

    Wages aren't the problem though.

It's the length of the contract. Barton wants 4 years but board want to offer 1 or 2 at most.

Barton will still be as effective in 4 or 5 years, his game doesnt rely on pace and if anything he will get better with age. Long contract makes sense to both parties, especially as he can keep his place in the team longer than Nolan and be an effective captain as well.

  10. Well why not sack Smith, Ameobi, Perch and Routledge, and that'll make up the extra two years Barton wants to stay for.

We can afford a longer contract, just dont want a squad that is too old apparently.

As low as £50k?! We are trying to stabilize our finances, and we can't do that if we're going to continue to hand out silly wages.

And as for you wanting to sack the players, you do realise that it will cost millions to do that, so in effect it would be pointless, not to mention the drop in team morale.

It is like having sex with a fat lass. Sure you get to have sex, which is exciting, but it is with a fatty so it is scary :(

    Agreed.

The wage cap is one of the only things I agree with from the clowns upstairs.

I hate transfer windows full stop, always ends in disappointment. Oh and the annoying smug smile of David Craig on deadline day is always annoying. SMB twat.
