Come on Steve, play them from the start please against Cardiff. Fryatt has played like a piece of wet cod since he's been in the starting line-up. It's not fair on us or him to persist with this - he has to have a pre-season to regain sharpness or get shot. Starting him was a gamble which has failed and may cost us promotion.

If you want to still play 3-5-2 (or really 3-5-1-1) then Simpson up top, maybe Brady in behind, Rosie for Brady at LWB and Fahti for Elmo. Something has to be changed because we're not going to just bounce back the way we're playing.

Our strikers can't score but Simmo can at least hold the ball up and bring others into play but does it better when he's not paired with Prossy as a sub.

And then the goal or goals we need will come from midfield.

Fahti has a shot on him. Get him in there.

    And just do it.

If we still persist with starting with elmo and fryatt and it will be suicidal.. Nothing will change.. A better manager would have changed it a few weeks ago... Put elmo on the bench to come on later and use his pace but fathis been good when hes played and has pace.. We need to change it up or else we will 100% not win

    --------Stockdale -------

    Rosy--Chester--Hobbs--Brady

    Elmo-Korren-Fathi-Meyler-Quinn

    ---------Simpson-------------

This is how I would line up. With Koren given a license to push up alongside Simpson.

Should we change formation i like that team.. And elmo will get alot better support with rosenior overlapping and vice versa.. And it can be changed to 3-5-2 should we need it with gedo/proshwitz coming on for rosenior..and either mcshane coming on or fathi dropping back.. With boyd an quinn maybe coming on for extra energy

Does bruce have the balls for it?

    ------------Stockdale
    Rosie Chester Hobbs Dawson
    ------------ Fathi
    Elmo Meyler koren Brady

    ------------ Simmo

Hard to drop Faye as he's been our best player and prob leader
Dawsons highly unlikely but it leaves Brady to attack and gives us an experienced head
Meyler again unlikely to be dropped but I could swap him with cairney easily
Simmo don't rate him but at the minute I don't rate the other options higher

    ----------Stockdale----------
    -Rosy-Hobbs-Chester-Dawson-
    ------Fathi------McShane----
    --Elmo-----Koren-----Brady--
    ----------Simpson-----------

Faye's been quality so could easily replace Hobbs if he's not 100%
We need an Ian Ashbee / Dean Windass.. Dawson provides us with that experience
McShane was closest to a goal yesterday, and Meyler, Quinn and Evans were ****e, so I've stuck him in defensive midfield (yes, it's not going to happen)
Thought Proschwitz was good yesterday, but I'd go with Simmo

Anyway, the point is that we need to change things round or I highly doubt we'll win on Saturday.

Id be 100% better than dawson against cardiff, that would be suicide.. Simply because im fitter and faster.. It sucks dawson won't get a cameo as promotion should have been sewn up.

But hey motherwell are hammering the champions celtic.. Maybe there is hope

If Koren is fit he should be stationed on the edge of the Cardiff penalty box and ordered to shoot every time he gets the ball. Like-wise the rest of the attack should be instructed to feed the ball to him.
If Koren gets 10 shots he might score 2 compared to the 1 our other forwards might get if they have 20 chances.

we lack pace what people dont realise is that Elmo is suffering because there is alack of movement ahead of him, the forwards do lack pace, Boyd isn't the quickest and fryatt needs 5/6 games to get up to pace so this season i would bring him on off the bench. i know we have not got a great choice up front but something as to change either system or personnel

    Chester Faye Hobbs
    Elmo Meyler Evans Quinn Brady
    Simpson Gedo

Bring Koren, Boyd and Fryatt on as impact subs.

I would certainly give 442 a go, as teams seems to have sussed how to set up against us now.

Just please don't bring Proschwitz on. The guy looks like a little kid who's won some kind of competition to get on the pitch. Enthusiastic but never a footballer. Every time we throw him on it just seems like an admittance that the game is already ****ed.

The player he replaces is usually someone decent as well.

There's something 'weird' regarding Fathi. When he's come on as a sub he's been PK. When he got a start a few weeks ago, he was great (according to those posters who saw him...).

But Brucey doesn't really play him, giving rise to the question: "WHY?"

I doubt Bruce will change from the 3-5-2 so late in the season....

    Stockdale

    Chester - Faye - Hobbs

    Rosie - Meyler - Evans - Koren - Brady

    Simpson - Boyd

Thats my team, i think Elmo needs a break looked very poor recently, two or three times he looked scared to go on the outside, and he only had one man on him. Quinn hasn't looked the same, cracking player but i fancy Koren in a game like this. Simpson at least holds the ball up and Boyd just has that magic in him.
