Everton's win keeps them 5 points above us going into next weeks derby. A win for us moves us to within 2 points with us having to play Fulham away and QPR at home and Everton playing West Ham at home and Chelsea away in the final day.

If we take 9 points from our remaining 3 games I think we'll finish above them as can see Chelsea beating them on the final day as they'll be looking to secure Champ League football.

Anything other than a win next week though and they'll finish above us.

 

They have to play West Ham at home and Chelsea away after the derby. If we can muster a win next week and close the gap to two points, I suspect we will be relying on agent Rafa to do us a favour.

In all likeliness, it will be us that **** up in one or both of the games against Fulham and QPR

 

Can't see us losing to QPR, unless we litteraly have nothing to play for by then because we've messed up against Everton & Fulham. I think we'll beat Everton. Their away record isn't great and we should be right up for it and confident after today's result. Fulham are in mid table, nothing to play for and will probably be thinking of their holidays.

Also the 2 footed challenge from Fox looks horrible. Luckily he went in so high that he actually managed to go over the top of Reid's leg which is on the floor and didn't catch him properly.

 

We usually flatter to deceive after a big win so I'm not convinced about the derby. Fulham is always a hard place to go too. Got to say though, it would be pretty cool to topple Everton on the final day

I turned MOTD off half way through the Wigan/Spuds game

 

True but can't see us not being right up for the Derby, especially with bragging rights being up for grabs.

Yaya Toure just scored a screamer for City, smashed one in top corner with his left foot. Joe Hart just conceded another howler in last minute to allow Carroll to score with his right foot. Just let the ball roll under his legs. He does make some stupid mistakes... obviously playing for England so much he's finally caught the "calamity" bug!

 

Carragher will certainly be up for it with it being his last. Dare I predict a goal for him too?

Coutinho and Sturridge have not experienced a merseyside derby before although the latter has been involved in Manchester and London derbys

How many points for Carragher? Just wondering if its a gamble that would win the prediction league if it happened (and don't tell me the points for a defender, Carragher is a special case)

 

I'm scared to say just incase gaf predicts him and he does actually score and he beats me to the title

 

Should be like 10 points, although if you're going to predict Carragher to score then you may as well pick OG

 

If gaf is ahead of me then just PM me or should I just get him banned?
