The club need to know that they can treat the fans and our club like this. We need a co-ordinated response from all of the various fans groups. If anyone out there has links our ties to other fans groups, organisations, forums whatever, tell them to sign up here. We need to organise a response together. BOARD OUT
This is absolutely the worst news possible for QPR - We're at the mercy of Ecclestone and Briatore and they'll bleed the club dry without a conscience. I entirely agree with a boycott on ST - if you've bought already, ask for your money back. If fans don't make a stand, slowly the club will be taken away from us...
Having said the complete opposite earlier, I'M NOT RENEWING MY SEASON TICKET!!! To be honest with you guys I've just about had enough of all this disapointment and you can trust me I won't renew......unless the Mittals take control and get rid of those two muppets!!
Can we organise some sort of online petition? These things have been done for other causes, anyone know how?
aghhhhhhh........... were supposed to be enjoyin these moments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Season ticket purchase is well out of the question. I'll always be an Rs fan but I will never support that parasitic little rag doll and his disaster prone Italian side kicks. But we need to do a lot more than that. We need to make our feelings known publicly and to the club direct - and soon. I agree with Roller's idea of backing an online petition. I also think we need to find as many ways of emailing and writing to the club as individuals to leave them in no doubt of the outrage in the heart of every Ranger that knows what's happening. If anyone has any contact addresses, please let us know. Also, at some point there will be a demonstration by some Rs radicals of the type who maintained a vigil at Wembley during the FA Hearing. If anyone gets word of protests then certainly every available London-based R should get out there with banners and signboards and give the press something to photograph and report. None of this will change much - other than confirm for the Mittals, our belief in their leadership of this club. ECCLESTONE, BRIATORE AND PALADINI OUT - NOW!
The only way they will ever go is if they realise they will never make a profit! This will only happen if enough people boycott matches. The trouble with this is at the moment they are still in a 'honeymoon' period since we won the league and they know this. The 'novelty' factor of premiership football back at LR will not however last forever.
I don't know how much of the next season finance is based on attendance, as opposed to TV revenue. Probably not much. However it would look pretty stupid with a half empty ground. However that is 3 months away. We need to do something now. That is half the battle, but as Brixton said, we need to let Mittal know that we want him back as well.
The saddest thing is whatever we do either individually or as a collective will not make any difference whatsoever. Just look at the Man Utd fans twirling their yellow and green scarves around , do you think the Glaziers give a toss? And just like them FB and BE will probably not even attend a game they will leave that to their slimeball, greasy little stooge Palliadini. The only thing that will make them leave is if we have an apocolyptic season which sadly with these three soulless, money grabbing parasites in charge we might!!
If we dont turn up at matches, then things will go from bad to worse. The players will think the fans wont care, so they'll stop trying, Warnock will quit coz he will think the fans dont care, and we'll lose most of our best players to the next club Warnock goes to. The who will we have left, Crap players and a crap board
This was posted on my article. Protest on the 4th June for those that don't have facebook. http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=211231308911140
The fans can make a huge difference when the owner - eg Ecclestone - is UK based. Ashley was put under enormous pressure at Newcastle. They don't want hassle and unpopularity in their own back yard. And we know Ecclestone has no interest in the club as a passion - he positively boasts about being a Chelsea supporter and not being able to name more than 2 or 3 QPR players - or as an ongoing business. He'd be happy to get shot of QPR but at a good profit. My one hope is that Bhatia's withdrawal from management is tactical - that without the Mittal's good business judgement in day to day affairs - Ecclestone, who is clueless about football affairs, and Briatore who meddles (which is worse than being clueless) will flounder - and if Ecclestone's popularity is as low as it could be at LR among the fans, may be then, Ecclestone will be more amenable to a Mittal buy-out.
