I'd say Barca need a Striker... not a forward but a Striker (like Llorente). And, I agree, defo a CB or 2 needed. Maybe another midfielder to relieve the pressure on Xavi and Inestia.
Well, if you are right, I'd like to see FC Bayern München win it. They were robbed last year! If you haven't been following any of the games in the Bundesliga, I'd recommend it - the style of play is exciting, fast and powerful and as I said I think it may well dominate the future ... at least for a time.
The Germans obviously think they didn't do enough damage to Spain in the 1930's and by the sound of the announcements over the tannoy, 'Operation Sea Lion' could be relaunched in a few weeks! Good high-energy display and well-deserved win by, Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund tonight. A young team to be reckoned with - think their average age is about 25!
... and of course, as a closet member of the Aberdeen mutton-loving fraternity, your knowledge of football is immense and your views much sought after by football authorities the world over.
More than me at the moment Reb ... I only know the scoreline - had to miss it today What was your take on it?

I was watching 3 things at the same time so I could only comment from a 33% watching it sorta way. Very lethargic. Bilbao were well worth the draw and saw a lot of the ball. The Messi goal was a thing of beauty.
Yea we've been lethargic on far too many occasions for some time now. I suppose the league is all but sown up so that might explain a drop in form in it but the champions league performances have been poor as well - lucky to have got so far in it this time around. Wonder if it's a case of becoming stale after dominating for so long.
Here's the goal if you haven't seen it. http://deadspin.com/messi-back-to-scoring-ridiculous-goals-bringing-ray-hu-483785010?
