Hope he didn't kill himself because we have been so successful under a manager he despises.

Interesting yes. But I do not want to go thru a season like that again. Endure/suffer. However else it could be described. Top 10 will be amazing. But to get this late on and needing 60 points to guarantee safety makes this league THE greatest. IMO. Barnsley you gotta give them their due to.

Spanish will be in hiding. Mm and tc have proved they have the minerals for a fight. Made us hard to beat and instilled the confidence so obviously lacking. He's got Carlos playing like a man 10 years younger. The foundations are there for an assault next season and now looking forward to see what summer acquisitions we get. So mr Evans back the man and give him some decent money to spend.

Haven't received a PM mate, I know the issues are site wide so I imagine when Mick gets round to doing something about it, it'll suddenly spring back to life... in the meantime I'll keep my good ear to the ground to see if there's any developments.. <ok>

Fantastic performance first half I can only remember 1 shot on goal (which was the disallowed offside goal), second half was decent enough but they definitely got back in it.

It was the first time I'd seen both Nouble and Hewitt playing and I was very impressed with both of them. Getting Nouble for 25k was an absolute steal! You can tell he really wanted to score and was chasing every ball and making their 'keeper mess up a quite few kicks. It was nice seeing him get on the end of a lot of the balls over the top and really put their defence under some pressure.

First half Tabb really impressed me, he is only about 4ft tall but he does the simple things on the ball so well he really adds to the team. For whatever reason I didn't see as much of him in the second half, whether that was Birmingham stepping up or him stepping down it was hard to tell. Either way, he was still solid and dependable on the ball.

Cresswell and Hewitt were both a real attacking threat and were bombing forward all the time. It was so nice to see, and the fact other team members would cover them really showed the positive change in teamwork.

I know it's been said over and over again, but this back 5 could stay together for a very long time and they could easily be the best in the championship. I really hope we sign stearman and don't lose any of them.

The only thing I was disappointed at yesterday, was the amount of boo's Martin got when he came on. Fair enough you don't like him, but he is still a member of the team (for 1 more game..) and for a short period was the best player in a disappointing Jewell team.

Thanks Wrighty for the summary...sad about Martin as when I have seen him...ok about 4 times a season he has always impressed with his effort, commitment, considerable skill...but woeful on end pass! And he does attract the Yellows!! Shouldn't be booed at PR...not good. As I said in earlier post, I rather think that could be his last game for Town....

All else looks highly promising and we seem to score as many goals from mid and back 4 these days as our variable front men! Do you think we have a decent front partnership in Nouble & Murph, albeit temporary, now?...Murph seems to have upped his game massively!

Murphy has been impressive under MM, I'm just not sure if he will be here next season as I don't think we could afford his wages. I'm really hoping Nouble and JET get some time in the first team, apparently they have been forged a pretty strong partnership in the U21 league and I can see JET drawing the defenders and Nouble making some killer runs to get the goals.
