But bruce is **** for that and i doubt anything changes apart from simpson starting.. He should start fathi over elmo as hes been poor for a month or so now... But he doesnt have the balls to change it..
I agree, team selection been a bit off, I was thinking more of the front-men and picking players that are out of gas,but I reckon he will get it right when it counts next week.
My 11 year old son has been saying for weeks "will we get a chance to run on the pitch" I've been saying I think we'll win it before then! Maybe he knew something?
it'll be the season of false hopes... typical city. We will probably draw vs cardiff and watford will win... then we might reach playoff final with some luck but lose it at wembley. I can just see it
everyone stop playing up fryatts injury as cruical, with fryatt as our main striker we would not be where we are now (3rd come next week) we would be much lower. fryatt got better the longer he was out in most our fans eyes, i have seen him miss many many easy chances and his all round play is poor. simpson is much better just for his hold up play and ability to bring others into the game for me. fryatt is just not that good and never has been.
City haven't scored a goal against the bottom three in the last three games Watford have won their last two games City have to play the champions Watford are home against a mid-table team City have looked poor. Watford have looked good. The above suggests that Watford will overtake us next saturday. I can be accused of being pessimistic. I can't be accused of being happy clappy. I think I'm being realistic.
We've been second in the league for the last nine games and for seventeen games in total this season. It'd be bloody typical of us to drop out in the last game of the season.
On the other hand- We are still a point ahead. Roko could be back. We are at home. They might not turn up and their fans won't give a monkeys how they play. Will Watford react well when they have to get a result at all costs? Simmo will score before the seasons out! I think I see the other side of the coin.
and if we do, we won't make it out of the play-offs imo. Cardiff it is then - one game and only one result will do.
Bottled it. Simple as that. Judging by the performances when it has mattered, we are not worthy to go up. On current form, there is no way on earth we will beat Cardiff next week. If anything, we can look forward to nothing more than an absolute hammering by the Champions next Saturday. The KC stadium will be an awful place to be next week for any Hull fan, made worse with Cardiff fans celebrating in a carnival atmosphere. 7 point lead pissed away. Still cannot believe it.
Woeful display........ it's not so much the lack of scoring a goal but that we don't even create the chances. Our strike force has been pathetic in the last few games and the midfield have forgotten how to open up defenses to give the strikers a chance. It's weird how Brady and Quinn have under performed at the same time as Elmo has faded and lacked conviction.I'm disappointed that Bruce didn't give Fathi a run out, at least he has a fresh pair of legs.Bruce appears to have hit a brick wall with his team selections and tactics ,something that happened to him when he was at Sunderland .I believe at times he over thinks the situation and transmits indecision into his players. How else could so many of them play below par all at the same time?
