I've only just noticed tonight that a draw is literally of no use tomorrow - should honours finish even we still need to beat Cardiff to get promoted if Watford beat Leeds. We should see an attacking game then - both teams need to go all out and a draw suits neither. Caution to the wind time.
Not strictly true. If we draw tomorrow then a draw against Leeds in their last match is no use to Watford. Having said which, I still advocate an all out attack tomorrow to seal the deal.
Let's just get this clear, watford will beat leeds. Their last two results have really boosted their confidence. Also, why on earth would Leeds give a **** and help us go up. So we need a win out of the next two games. take your pick. My prediction: we will go behind at oakwell and lose or draw. and we will huff and puff vs Cardiff but it will finish 0-0.
Circa all this complete **** that's come out of your dirty little mouth and you're not even going tomorrow... And you think WE'VE blown it because LEICESTER failed to win. Says it all about you. Where's the support you little twat? No confidence in our team? Bet you're one of these jumping back on the premiership bandwagon. In fact I bet you bood against Bristol. Don't smoke weed, go inject yourself with heroin you ****ing tramp. If you were older I'd love to wring your scrawny little neck you little ****. **** off and don't come back.
Ps. Circa how ironic you said to me I'd be slitting my wrists and calling the team if we don't win tomorrow, look what you're doing now AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED YET you ****ing mong. And why would Leeds give the slightest **** about what them getting a result might mean for us? They won't and is moronic to think it, they will want to win like they will every other game. Go and support someone else you thick plastic bell end. Or just take bens sound advice and go hang yourself.
When he comes of age there will be a birthday invite to the linnet car park waiting for him. If he still supports hull city by then of course... If not ill probably have forgotten about him.
I'm definitely picking up some negative vibes here Bobby. Might be wrong but I just have a hunch you're not happy with Circa.
couldnt have put it better myself, silly WUM **** thought I wanted Watford to win........ cant stand his pessimism!
Well if we're being that literal then we never did need to win another game and still don't. Who knows what will happen?
IMO, Lesta were piss poor last night until they scored. Watford were nothing special but fully deserved the win overall. Now its our day. Hull City day. We all know whats needed for a return to the promised land. B E L I E V E and enjoy it all.
I'm probably in a minority of one here, as there is no denying that the vast, VAST majority of us are rooting for Barnsley in the same way that you were rooting for Leicester (the one difference being that Barnsley absolutely must do us a favour or our hopes are mathematically over). But as a Watford fan I'm not all that fussed about your result today. If it goes to the last day then sure, we've got a chance of going straight up, and if we pull it off it would arguably be the greatest day in Vicarage Road's history. But I'm not sure I could take it, and if it goes wrong it would put us on a bad footing going into the playoffs. You're going to be at home rooting for Leeds, we're going to be at an absolutely packed Vicarage Road rooting for Malky Mackay. What should be a celebration of a fantastic season for both teams (regardless of who comes 2nd and who comes 3rd), will be extremely flat for one. On the other hand if you win today, we have a week to get over the disappointment, and come next week we'll in party mood. 100% of season ticket holders would have bitten your hands off if you told us in July that we would finish third and be the top scorers, and with seven days to think about it, most of us will remember that come next weekend.
That's a very pragmatic way of looking at the situation. I have to say the way you played last night, you probably have a better chance of getting through the play off's than we would.
But if Watford draw with Leeds then either a draw against Barnsley or Cardiff is enough to promote us. Therefore, I wouldn't subscribe to your theory that a draw is of no use.
