I don't want to be negative and say that's it, we've screwed it up but the pressure is definitely on us now. We need to go and perform where we never usually do (Oakwell) with Barnsley still having all to play for too. I honestly think we can win, and of course we should win but if we don't, I can see the play-offs for us unfortunately. Should Play-offs be the case, I don't think we'll win them either, we're too out of form. Still, keep with the optimism, COME ON CITY!
If you don't make it, then you will all have a valid reason to hate us we tried our best, was a great game of football and lets face it, they won tonight because of the goal of the season.
1. We will draw at Barnsley. 2. We will lose against Cardiff. 3. Watford will be 2-0 up against Leeds. 4. Leeds will get one back. 5. Watford will get the shakes. 6. Leeds will score a late and totally unexpected equaliser to send us up. If you can think of a more nailbiting finish it will probably happen because fate has decreed that HCAFC supporters will never have it easy.
Sone Aluko ‏@sonealuko 5m We'll get it done tomorrow!! Everyone be easy and have faith in the team! Got this far ourselves...can get over the line! Goodnight,Godbless Finally, someone with ****ing sense!

So how was he right when he said that the Leicester v Watford result changed nothing? It’s simple. He was wrong.
...having played 44 games. The reason people can be pessimistic is because we've watched a nervous team struggling to handle the pressure when they've been 6 points clear with 4 games left, and then even more ridiculously 7 points clear with 3 games left, with the manager apparently having openly confirmed that the players are indeed struggling with their nerves. Now, being 1 point clear knowing that a similar failure to win tomorrow will leave us going into a game against the Champions expecting to need a win, the players are hardly likely to be more relaxed than they were in the previous games.
i really don't think the team has the composure to win at barnsley, if we can't beat them we don't deserve 2nd spot simple!! watford looked much more prem quality than we do if we are all being honest!!! play offs is up for grabs tho and i think we should be happy regardless. season has been great eevn if we miss autos, 3rd spot is respectable considering start of season we was looking at sneaking in 6th!!
It's one thing to hope, another to have sense. I don't see an exciting finish at the end of this. All I see is a gut-wrenching depressing one. Ricardo summed it up. If the players couldn't seal the deal vs relegation fodder with a 7pt cushion, I don't see how they will vs a Barnsley team with a few scalps at home and the pressure of only having a 1 pt gap lead.
Look on the bright side..... we would happily swap places with you now!!! Be thankful for where you are and try and enjoy it. Nervous though I know.
No I wasn't - see my last post. As far as what we have to do nothing has changed. We Still need to win 1 of our last 2 games (as we did before tonight's match kicked off)
Obviously it would've been nice to have it gift wrapped tonight. I, like any other sane person, hoped it would happen. As it turns out, you can't rely on others and must get there yourself. It changes nothing really, we all knew that a win sends us up, and it's still the same, it's just that we now KNOW what it takes. Any **** out there getting excessively negative now, after ANOTHER team has played and lost, is just mental. I can't wait for tomorrow. I am revved, and I aim to lose my voice entirely.
In fact I'm going to bed in a minute, because I'm driving tomorrow and I had a few beers watching that match. That's how ready I am!
Enjoy for those of you that are going. I'm gonna have a little smoke to relax a bit. Can't believe it has come to this really. we should have been home an dry before the wolves game
I really wish people would stick to there original accounts and say it as it is ! What ever happens tomorrow we will still all be tigers, maybe over the moon tigers or pissed right off tigers, The fact is this is who we are we have always known it! So chill out have a beer or wine and relax UTT
