The racist incident with Evra aside there is something about Suarez that true football purists will admire. Suarez is a character I should despise. His behaviour is despicable and embarrassing with no appreciation of what harm his actions cause, his respect for authority is almost non-existent (he's a bit like a banker in that respect), however Suarez is one of the most passionate footballers I have ever seen play in the Premier League, with a will to win like no other and this is demonstrated by the consistency he shows week in week out.

The nation was outraged when he put he sacrificed himself to block a certain goal in the 2010 WC but I applauded. His aggression is channeled in the wrong ways i.e biting but nonetheless it is there. As Mourinho would say "He's the type of player you'd go to war with". If Arsenal or QPR had a player like him they'd be far better off than they are now. I hope he stays with Liverpool and in the Premier League. I don't get this mentality the press and football fans have of reaping the rewards of a player when he is good but wanting to get rid as soon as troubles start. It's a damning indictment of society and why the Elderly (people deemed helpless andwith little use to society) are disproportionately targets of crime.

We also live in a nation that is vehemently Xenophobic and right wing. Prejudice against South American's is all too common and has excelled since Maradona in the 1986 World Cup. We have players in this country that won't even sing the national anthem and will pull out of internationals at any given opportunity. Suarez too often has given the FA and media an excuse to act with prejudice, he is by a country mile the best footballer in this league but too often has let himself and your club down.

Sisu/6D's have swung to far the other way, portraying Suarez as a victim of an injustice and blaming everyone from Man Utd to Defoe instead of apportioning some of the blame to Suarez himself and some have called for the return of Capital Punishment and re-opening of Tower of London but I'm quite anti-Draconian when it comes to things like this.

I'll finish off by saying if Suarez leaves everybody loses out. The media will have nothing to right about. There will be one less world class player in the Premier League. Liverpool lose a World Class player etc. Hope he isn't hounded out <ok>

Bale?
RVP?
Both are better. You might be able to barely justify an argument that they are on par with each other but to say he is a country mile better than both is laughable.

He's an undoubted talent & his 'edge' is almost certainly an inherent part of what makes him what he is.

However, he doesn't know where to draw the line & he's continually looked to gain an advantage by cheating.

You say you'd want him by your side in the trenches, but the problem with him is that 1/4 of the time he'd be awol from his position next to you in the trench! As since arriving on these shores, he's played 88 domestic games for Liverpool, & by the time his current ban expires he'll have been suspended for 21.....

As for the "xenophobic & right wing" Brits being to blame for picking on the poor soul. What a pile of ****e that is. There's been numerous players ply their trade in this country who have been both brilliant & loved - not only by their own fans, but by the wider footballing audience. The reason Suarez is despised by many neutrals is that they can see him for what he is, a great footballer, who's a snide cheat. To put that down as 'Johnny foreigner' syndrome is both inaccurate & quite offensive tbh.

Nahhhh. General jist - he tries hard and is good so shouldn't be persecuted so much. Brings it on himself, only himself to blame. End of. I too don't have a problem with the handball incident in the WC but that's the only excusable things Suarez has done. Not bothered if he leaves, won't really be that big of a detriment to the PL, plenty of other top class players there, only Liverpool will lose out but they are suffering with him anyway. Lose - lose situation.

If Suarez is forced out of England then the tabloid hacks will lie to themselves they have done something good for society and will only need 4 rather than 5 glasses of whisky to forget their lack of integrity and cry themselves to sleep at night.

Wrong, no one blames anyone but Saurez, we have both pointed out the difference in how those from other teams and yes countries are treated. Those things pointed out are factual differences not opinions<ok>

Also, pointing out the differences of punishments for the same or lesser offences is both valid and accurate. So again you are wrong there, never mind your own comments on the FA's attitude towards Chelsea when it has suited you, comments not so different from mine or DDDDs in the end, but you now state differently and that is not lost on me.

As for the xenophobia, that is correct 100% the image of the dirty greasy south american prevails however much some idiots try to deny it because apparently the English don't cheat it seems.

If Suarez leaves it won't be because he has been 'forced out'. That would be a cheap and lousy excuse from him, he has made plenty of errors in the past and has paid for them, you can argue some punishments are harsh but they are a result of his actions, nobody else's.

First bit, so you are saying that CBs do not cheat, Vidic is a perfect example of being clever to get decisions, but with Vidic its clever with Suarez it's cheating. That's just one example of how defenders cheat as you call it many if not all do it.

2nd bit
It's common knowledge England is rife with xenophobic & right wing" Brits. This is in no way saying every brit, but it is clearly an issue for british culture so you are wrong on that, 100% wrong

And you are portraying inaccurate claims to make some bollox point as usual, no one said the brits are out to get Suarez and there have been hints of racism within the FA and their lack of black employees in senior positions since its conception alludes to that fact more than your unfounded and unsupported opinion. The media and certain media journos have indeed have had an agenda, as they usually do unless you are saying they dont.

Also, fans who have supported players that cheat for their own team then condemn Suarez. The uproar when he accidentally handled v Mansfield, it's pathetic. And to deny he is being called a cheat in part because of where he comes from as much as what he does is bollox, Rooney is an example because the FA backed him to reduce a ban for pretty much assaulting a player, and because he has dived so many times too but he's never called a cheat. Not because he plays for United, but because he is high profile and English.

You yourself gacked out of you about the WC handball and then shut your hole when offered a video of Neville doing it for your lot, gacked about diving re Suarez and then shut your hole when offered a video of Neville diving after fresh air tackled him<doh>

You haven't given an example of when Vidic has 'cheated' by being 'clever'.

What are you on about? You saying a defender jostling and using his strength to out muscle an opponent is cheating and comparable to Suarez handballing and diving?

Oh here we go <doh>

1. I didn't mention CB's, I didn't mention anyone other than the player in question, you know, the one who admitted he cheats himself in a recent interview. "I was accused of falling inside the box in a match, and it’s true I did it that time, because we were drawing against Stoke at home and we needed anything to win it." I didn't say he was unique either, I said he cheats, which he does, often & snidely.

2. So Britain has right wingers & xenophobes as part of it's society - well done, yes it does - as a small %age & it's of knack all relevance to the entire Suarez debate & is being flung in as some form of reason as to his vilification, which is bollocks, as he's vilified for his actions not the fact that he's South American.

3. I can barely understand that indecipherable nonsense, but the FA's black quota is also irrelevant to the entire debate. The media's 'agenda' is to report the current issues & sell papers, they sensationalise, it's hardly something new, but to suggest that they are somehow targeting poor Luis, is again, bollocks. He gave them the gift of biting an opponent in a televised high profile match, it was always going to generate reams of text, due to the fact that it was so alien to the game & was such a ridiculous act.

Did I talk about Rooney diving all over the place, RvP and his nasty tackles Nani kagawa and co diving and falling over, did I talk of Evans being a very dirty player no, I said Vidic is clever in how he gains an advantage, I never called him a cheat.

Examples

Sunderland, he slipped but took down Jones too to make sure he was not clean through, and got away with it cos it was a penalty. That's clever. He often fouls on set pieces and gets a free kick himself because of the way he reacts to the contact, defenders use those tools, Vidic is high profile so used as an example as many watch united even if they dont support them. he gets away with a lot because of how he does it, again no one called him a cheat. So, if CBs and defenders can do that and not be called a cheat, when striker uses similar tactics it's cheating, actually when Suarez does it it's cheating it seems and I am not talking about the bite.

FFS the act of letting a forward know you are on the pitch at the start of the game, that is very english!

The idea that there's an image problem for South American players in this country is demonstrably false.
From Villa and Ardiles back in the late 70s, though the likes of Solano, Asprilla, Forlan and Veron up to Tevez, Aguero, Sandro and a host of others today, I can't think of any that were regarded as cheats.
Some succeeded, some failed, some are still viewed as heros long after they've left and some are still remembered as massive flops. Renowned cheats or poor sportsmen, though? Who?

The idea that Vidic doesn't cheat is quite amusing to anyone that's seen him in the flesh, though.
He uses every trick in the book.

When you deny the xenophobia and racism in your previous post and then say the FA's lack of black employees since its inception is irrelevant your stupidity is clear for all to read. Besides, you have been doing as they have, targetting the dirty cheating dago every chance you get, never seen your xenophobic sick little mind go on and on about other cheaters, never heard you call Bale a snide cheat, you I have no doubt are a xenophobic little **** as you have made more than one references to my nationality in your bile filled replies prior to today, sick little bastard who trolls looking to talk bollox, I thought you were just anti Liverpool but you are just a twisted little ****<ok>

Keep your snide little comments to yourself, Calling Suarez snide, look at your cowardly xenophobic little **** self maybe<ok>

There's a difference between being clever and cheating. Tbh I can't remember the incident you described but if it was a penalty its a bad referee decision not a clever play by Vidic. He didn't get away with it just because he's a high profile defender <doh> He gets freekicks because he fouls and the reacts to the contact? You're not making any sense. Vidic doesn't cheat as in handballing, diving etc, he's just a good player. I don't know why you feel the need to bring other Utd players into it. All teams have players that occasionally dive but very few have the repertoire of dirty tricks that Suarez often displays.

You're as thick as pig **** & incapable of holding a sensible debate, as you've neither the intellect nor any ability whatsoever to look at things with any form of perspective.

Therefore, for the benefit of others, I am not going to rip that latest pile of ****e you've posted into tiny shreds, as you'll just follow it with another pile of ****, rinse & repeat, ad infinitum.

So continue arguing with yourself, you sad, angry, bitter, pissed up, ****ing idiot. <ok>

So there aren't other forms of cheating? Like when Vidic pulled Gerrard down when he'd got past Vidic and was going to be 1 on 1 with the keeper (he got red carded)? Or the grappling that goes on in every corner?

That's just as bad as diving & handballing really, gaining an advantage by doing something that's blatantly against the rules but because the English media don't consider it as bad as diving or handballing it never gets mentioned, until it's an Italian team doing the shirt tugging and then it results in an explosion of media & pundit outrage asking for referees to start punishing players that hold opponents' shirt in the box.

The FA nicely sidestepped why GBH Thatcher gets an 8 game ban and Suarez gets a 10 game ban
