Not only should Suarez serve out his ten game ban, i would have thought that players contracts should contain a clause whereby he forfeits his considerable wages whilst the ban is in force. A player sent off for a bad tackle could argue his case, but where in the rules does it say you can bite someone. The man is seriously affected, and Ivanovic is lucky not to be infected.
What baffles me is he is committing GBH in a football stadium, so where were the police?, you are trying to tell me they have no jurisdiction against players !, like when Barton kicked the Man c player, when will the police step in ?. And by the way I would like to thank them for keeping the SAFC supporters safe after the derby game, because if they had not been there god knows what would have happened.
If its bad enough, they would generally do you for affray if nobody puts a complaint in. They do have the power to do that.
