Given that I also support Chelsea, I know a fair amount about this young lad. His brother, Eden, rates him a better prospect than himself, which should make a few of you reading sit up and pay close attention!

"Hazard has helped transform them from a mid-table side to challengers for Belgium's top honour. Zulte are currently going toe to toe with perennial challengers Anderlecht in the play-offs, after securing a top four place to battle it out for the title. And for his contribution to that, Hazard is becoming a big star in his own right, earning call-ups to Belgium's under-21 side. Signed from Lens last summer, Thorgan Hazard is now 20-years-old, and plays on the left-wing. For his loan side he has scored three goals, and provided seven assists. Their article described the younger Hazard as 'one of the great discoveries of the season', while the player himself said: "At Zulte-Waregem, I have showed who I am." It's possible Chelsea may ask him to go on loan to another club in another league to test himself at a higher level."

He is lightening quick, just like his brother, and has progressed successfully from the Belgian U19 to the U21 squad. Anyone who has any knowledge of the Belgian national team will know that they will be one of the top 4 teams vying for either World Cup 2014 or Euro 2016. Their team is immense (Courtois, Kompany, Vertonghen, Vermuelan, Fellaini, E.Hazard, Mertens, Witsel, De Bruyne, Dembele, Mirallas, Benteke, Lukaku). Back on track now, we are in need of a highly-technically-skilled pacy winger and especially the left side, where he plays.

Given our increased transfer budget this summer, we won't be relying on loanees plugging positional gaps (e.g Garrido) , but a young, up-and-coming, highly rated prospect. Given our relative lack of wingers, outside of Pilkington and Snodgrass, would be worth a punt in my opinion. After all, just look what happened when Lukaku (West Brom), Sturridge (Bolton) and Wilshere were loaned out to gain experience.

    Thoughts?

I think this is a good shout and I agree we still lack some pace in our side. I also see that Scott Sinclair might get loaned out next season from Man City - unfortunately I think that other clubs will be higher up his priority list.

Wages would no doubt be the sticking point. Imagine, he got bumped up a few pay brackets upon joining Man City. Rather like Rodwell, they both (who can blame them!) seem content to sit on the bench, earning a nice salary. If they are truly hungry to progress they need to play week-in week-out!

Rodwell started nearly every game he was fit but unfortunately has been ravaged by injuries this season.

As for Sinclair...no where near good enough for City

Would love Thorgan Hazard, followed him for a while (since I signed him on FM11 haha)

There's also a younger Lukaku, Jordan, but i dont think his potential is the same.
