When his club needed him to show genuine class, tikitaka failed miserably. All he did was to appear to be a lapdog, at the beck and call of rat face.

" Suarez has never let me down" WTF . After all the statements by the club and himself about the act being unacceptable. The manager is putting the player before the club and begging him publicly to stay. " we want (beg) Suarez to continue to be part of this family"

    Well done Rodgers <applause>

It seems incredible that a club like that regularly makes the wrong decision. Whenever the big picture needs to be seen, the club's leaders are nowhere to be seen. The managing director and manager have acted like prized pratts.

The one who came out with a lot of credit is the chairman of the scousers supporters club: he said the only one responsible is Suarez. The club should take the punishment, keep quiet and move on. The FA might have overreacted but the one to blame is Suarez.

Typical that Rodgers chose to go with some of the ******ed scouser cvnts on this board rather than the sensible voice among his supporters.

"The player was punished not the act" So if a convicted person with history of previous rape and other serious offences commits a new rape then the sentence should be less and not more? Just because he has apologised? Of course it is about the perpetrator. It has always been the case.

As long as we have clowns showing no sign of leadership at the helm, the scousers will remain also rans.

So it seems. He goes on about rehabilitation but then sends out the wrong message that suarez is getting stiffed.

If getting yourself banned for 10 games isn't letting your manager down then I don't know what is.

I'm starting to think the Liverpool job is going to be a massive black mark on BR's career.

Personally, I found his comment that "they've punished the man & not the offence" to be even more idiotic tbh.

Of course they've punished the man, you daft twat, as they've taken into account the fact that they've warned him about his future conduct when they banned him for racial abuse, will have read him admitting to diving & cheating in general, noted that he got a 7 + 3 game ban for exactly the same offence in Holland. They will also no doubt have seen the numerous incidents this season of his 'gamesmanship' - achilles rakes, foot stamps, stamping on an opponents back, diving & his general snide attitude towards the game. The man's a cheating snide (by his own ****ing admission) so of course they punished the man, as they took into account his previous & the fact that he seems to have trouble learning how to behave on the pitch.

Everything you've said is so obvious that I still find it amazing that it simply will not sink in with them.

It's all just patently obvious. To anyone. Anyone with any degree of any logic within their head.

Rodgers has gone from decrying his behaviour, to defending his 'honour' & there's only one reason for that imo, he's **** scared of losing him.

He probably knew he was maybe going to struggle to hang onto him this summer anyway, & this punishment might now make the player think harder about where his future might lie. So he's looking to ingratiate himself with the player by this public backing of his man, it's very reminiscent of exactly the same mistake that Dalglish made during the last debacle.

His? There's about twenty over on the Liverpool board now all singing the very same song.

Not one can get it into their heads that yes, he has been prejudged. Pre judged on his lamentable and ****ing horrible behaviour over previous years.
