McGuire is a hot head, and whilst having plenty of ability has never had the patience and temprent of a top player. He allows silly things to wind him up, and takes on to many risky shots. I remember in the Semi's last year against Carter, all Carter was doing was leaving him tempters, which McGuire kept missing, and leaving Carter in the balls
Robertson leads 5-4, and whilst he hit the highest break of the competition a 143, I wasn't really that impressed by how he played. Being 5-2 up, with Milkins winning the last 2 frames to finish 5-4. Milkens will definately be feeling the better of the 2 going into tommorow. Hopefully Robertson can up his game, as whilst he made a fantastic break, the rest of his snooker was scrappy
Robertson is playing about as poor as he can, he will do well to get thru' at this rate..worrying times for him.
If Robertson were to get beat, Selby would have a pretty easy passage through to the final. As he and Robertson if it goes to form were supposed to meet in the semi. The only tricky one for Selby would be Ding in the quarter
You'll be pleased to know BOS, I've decided to have another investment on Selby at 9/2. So the kiss of death is on him now lol. He's got a pretty easy route to the final, with Ding being the only decent player he will encounter, and Ding has been a bit of a choker in recent years. Il probably lay the bet back though if he makes it to the final, depending on who he's up against
This frame could prove vital, if Selby can nick it, having been 50+ behind it could really break Hawkins spirit
I am definately the kiss of death for snooker players, my money goes on number 2 seed, and he falls apart, then my money goes on number 1 seed and the same thing happens. Might have a pound on Ronnie just for a laugh now, just to see if I can stop him
