I'm on me phone with **** signal, can somebody find the latest odds for me please? Thanks in advance x
Oh ****ing hell!! Big Chris has been going on about this on syd's site for ages! Would everyone be happy with him?? Not me personally but if he keeps us up I couldn't give a ****!
You mean Tragic's if we had got another decent forward to back Fletcher..instead we have Graham...useless!
Terrible timing. 7 games to go FFS! It's the players who should be embarrassed MON didn't tell them to go out and play ****.
Interesting how times and opinions change ...I got this one wrong too, changing courses in mid stream often leads to disaster and on this particular sunday I felt like I had a dark cloud over my head, staring down into the abyss of relegation oblivion. In this case, however, it has to be Ellis Short's finest hour to date and I could scarcely be more up-beat about our future prospects
Agree, I don't get the smug approach by some as over the years the comments from posters at the time and then quoted now were if history is anything to go by correct. Everyone's riding the wave at the minute after the derby win backed up by the impressive win over Everton, yet as DiCanio says we aren't safe yet so let's not jump the gun as the playing staff hasn't changed. I've been very impressed with DiCanio and it has been backed up with performances but also understand he has along way to go. I want to see how he deals with a full season of ups and downs and operates in the market but to be honest he is like a breath of fresh air and I'm looking forward to it! One thing that has surprised me is how certain players who have been branded as crap on here can now become decent which suggests that it wasn't their ability in question but their motivation so branding them crap or otherwise shows more about the posters knowledge of the game.

And your point is? I stand by everything I wrote, sacking a manager with so few games to go is usually the death knell. Also some of the names touted as replacements like Mcclaren could have doomed us anyway. No one and I repeat no one could have foreseen the transformation in those same players under DiCanio. I stand by my players comment, lets not forget these are the same players that were performing abysmally under MON. I wont do a tit for tat and search for something you have said that MAY have been wrong! Life's too short, plus I personally wouldn't get any pleasure from it. You want to spend your time finding fault in fellow Mackems posts more power to your elbow. please log in to view this image
