I asked a Kiwi in Brisbane once what that word meant - he replied "It means summit but I don't know what." It took me ages to get the joke....
evening all...just had a wonderful night with my girlies at the Pink concert at the 02. This is the third time i've seen her, and this time she blew us all away. That woman is such an incredible talent...singing, acrobatics (whilst singing!), dancing all different styles, playing the piano...good grief, it seems cruel...somehow you get the feeling it should have been spread around more! What an amazing, incredible performance..a really good show! It's great to see a performer actually perform, instead of standing at the front of the stage just singing one song after the other. Wow, is all i can say! (though i seem to have said a fair bit before i got to 'wow' lol)
Good morning everyone from a damp but very mild Weston-super-Mare Hoping for a dry day, at least until I'm back home from shopping!
Morning .... its our Holmfirth vineyard tour today and bucks fizz breakfast... a belated gift to Mme which was postponed due to the snow.... should be interesting.....
Morning All, I blame my wife for the wet weather as she returns from Cyprus where she has been on holiday with her Aunt and returns today. So I was up at 4.30am, hoovering (as you do - seemed to let it slip while she was away) dusting, changing beds then off to Morrisons to get some shopping all before getting to work at 7.30am. She arrives at 5.30pm so will be straight off to Heathrow from work to collect her. I did tell her that I loved her dearly and had missed her but warned her she would be without my company from 7.30pm onwards as I will be watching the Hornets thrash the Foxes in the other room. Thanks in advance for the Coffee Ak - hope your job search is going well. H - two of the ladies that work with me went to see P!nk last night but are both off today, glad to hear the concert was excellent as they were a bit worried being as she cancelled a performance in the week with an ear infection. Anyway let's hope for 3 more points tonight. Come on you 'Orns

Holmfirth and vineyards in the same sentence? Must be global warming. I look forward to a glass of Chateau Tyke How long before the Hebridean Champagne harvest?
Morning all from a very changeable Bandit Country - currently sunny, but it has been raining a bit. Doing some work this morning and then getting ready for the short trip to The East Midlands this afternoon - COYH. Little Miss W_Y had an interview this morning with the company that will be doing all the OB work for BT when they pick up the stuff that ESPN are currently covering - sounds hopefull and will find out next week.
Morning from a damp rural France. It was forecast to change, so I am pleased that I finished all my grass cutting yesterday. Hope that Miss W_Y has success in her job application. Le shopping is on the agenda today before the 'big' one tonight. Been reading that Nissan is going to get cars made in France at one of the Renault factories. It is being hailed as good news by the government, but the unions are saying that it because the wage costs for their workers have been driven down by the socialist government. With unemployment now running at an all time high this will happen, but it has taken a very short period for the unions who helped get Hollande elected to fall out of love with him.
Don't expect much money will filter it's way down to the lower leagues with this appointment, but Man Utd. should be alright. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22310331
