Assault on Precinct 13 ( John Carpenter's original not the ****ty re-make ) Usual Suspects Lawrence of Arabia In The Heat of The Night From Dusk Till Dawn Electra Glide in Blue Vanishing Point
don't take the piss but all the old black and white Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films are timeless.
Great film, its years since I've seen it, will have to find it online and have a watch. The best horror film by far though is The Exorcist, I **** myself when I first watched it and to be honest, I still struggle watching it now. It is the ONLY horror film that has scared me.
I know where you're coming from ACS. I love many of the old movies like A Passport To Pimlico, any of the Laurel & Hardy films and anything with Alistair Sims or Arther Askey in it like this movie, "The Ghost Train"
Have too many to be a favourite tbf but for life changing ones I'd say Jaws. Saw it at the Odeon, North Road Durham when I was 10 and it led to a total and complete fascination with sharks that remains as strong today as it did 37 years ago. I must watch it at least 7 or 8 times a year ever since I got the video and later DVD.
